Btw, when I switched over to ART, my Window and Transition animation scale were both turned off...is that normal?

ART does seem to speed up the G3 a lot. .5x animations and scaling and stuff helps to though.

Agreed; changing over to ART definitely improved performance. I'm still tweaking the phone (only had it since Friday) so hopefully more good news to come. I'm also thinking there will be software updates/improvements down the line with Android L on the horizon.

Have to agree. Switched over to ART yesterday, and I can definitely notice a difference.

I believe this is correct. To my knowledge, Android L will exclusively run ART.

Make sure you reboot (power off and back on) after the change

Once you activate it, your device will shut down, restart and then take a few minutes while it "upgrades" all the apps. Then enjoy.

Could someone who hasn't switched to art on a LG G3 try running the Raceview app? It keeps crashing on load on my G3, but I didn't try it before switching to art....

Is there a downside to switching to ART? I just don't know what it is but it sounds like it is a better way to go. Can you switch back easily if it doesn't work?
