It's about time we had a photo thread for this phone. I think it takes sharper pics than my V40 did - perhaps they finally fixed the over-processing issue, or the samples I've recreated so far just aren't showing the effects.

Same scene, one pic with normal lens, other with the telephoto lense.

Is there a way that could be done for the G8 photo thread? There is one main one with about 35 replies and a couple others that don't seem to realize that there is a main thread.

It seems I'm the only one with a V50 that takes any photos eh? :(
I thought I had post so e pics I took at an airshow in June.. perhaps I still had the V40 at the time. Edit: nope, just never went through them and posted any. Perhaps because Tapatalk ruins them and the website is tedious.

Let's see if Tapatalk still butchers photo uploads..

Stone staircase. A very steep one.

This ledge made me very uncomfortable. I couldn't get any closer to the edge. That is the bottom of a very long staircase, of which the first pic was just a small section.

Union Station in KC decked out to celebrate the Chiefs. I didn't notice the projected image below the arch in the inside shot until just now when I was uploading it. The building has some really beautiful architectural details. In the heyday of the railroads, this was a very busy train station.

I just realized (again I'm sure) that I'm the only one that's posted photos here. I didn't intend for it to be my own private thread!

Lol hopefully the V60 thread doesn't repeat history. But I'll be fine showcasing my clicks when it comes out.

It was really disappointing since the V50 thread was reasonably active. What phone do you have now?
I have the OnePlus 7 Pro now. I owned(and repurchased at a cheap price) the V10, V20 and V30 which was my favorite out the bunch. The V60 is going to be an absolute beast especially for the battery life with LG capping it to an uninspiring but practical 1080p screen at 60hz. Again not exciting but the benefits will be well worth it.
This is the first cinematic video I put together with the V10 using a very old Windows Movie Maker. It got the job done. I have some plans for a lot of cinematic content with the V60.

Thanks a lot. Now that I'm a little more versed in applications like Da Vinci Resolve and Premiere Pro and actually understand the process better, I definitely want to do better videos with gymbals and everything. Plus it's so easy to stand out making videos with any LG device cause there's basically no one making much content with them which is good or bad depending on how you see it. One person can almost single handedly be the face of LG cinematic content in the YouTube space. There's a ton of iPhone, Samsung and Pixel stuff out there already. Great LG stuff is scarce. I hope to change that a little bit.

I'm looking forward to your upcoming V60 videos.
