Never flashed a radio before...help

I want to give the new Community ED01 Rom a try, and I'd like to flash the ec_01_radio.tar new radio file first.

I've been searching and Googling for 45 minutes for a step-by-step for flashing the radio and no joy.

Can someone help a brother out?

Odin with PIT? PDA? Phone?

Do I need to un-TAR first?

place the radio.tar in the pda sections of odin and run. you do not need to do anything else

Got it - thanks. Just wasn't sure if something besides PDA should be used.

Currently, how do i get ED01 Modem/Radio. Can I just OTA to the official and then install the new ROM. Or is the only way to get ED01 radio is the method described by Adry in his post. (IE: Odin to DL09, CWM EA28, then CWM ED01)?
