I'm hoping my phone doesn't have any defects. Will Google still be able to issue replacements if mine were to be messed up?
My hotness just arrived and is arleady de-boxed, put together and plugged in. Its updating everything, looks like an early software build - still had "Google Market" on it.
And I was hoping for some jelly beans as a nice little treat. That's the next thing we can count down I hope the days till we get some jelly bean sweetness!
I just purchased this one with overnight shipping, for $14 it's cheap enough that if I don;t like it I won't really care.
I got my phone. The screen looks good no issues, just like I remembered from before. I couldn't help myself and, have already unlocked the boot-loader, rooted and, installed JB. I'm in the process of restoring my Google account now. I can already tell the difference in how it runs compared to Ics.
Which JB did you install?
Unfortunately these devices are notorious for having defective screens. Some much worth than others. Most noticeable when you turn the brightness down low the screen then casts purple. Some unlucky souls have returned as many as four times to get a good screen.
Turned my brightness down it casts purple....:-\. I turn it up it looks fine.
It's a stock one from the XDA forums. I didn't follow those instructions exactly because I used the toolkit to do some things

Efrant is awesome! Why the rom though vs. the ota for IMM30D?
Turned my brightness down it casts purple....:-\. I turn it up it looks fine.
I GOT MINE!!!
Letting it charge up before digging in too deep.
Are you guys talking about when the brightness it set all the way to the bottom that it casts purpleish? If so, I look at that as sort of a "night mode" when that really dark tint would be desirable. I notice as soon as I bump it up just slightly "normal" colors instantly return.
But maybe you guys are experiencing more purple than I am. Because I only notice the purple when the brightness slider is set to "0" - which I think I would like to have that option.
