Your comment reminded me of the Late Jim Kelly & Hahn from the Movie "Enter the Dragon"
When Hahn looked at Jim Kelly right after Bolo killed the Guards that were on duty the night prior that allowed Bruce Lee to slip around and do his thing.. Bolo picked one dude up and just crushed him in his arms like a baby and Hahn ask Jim Kelly "Does this bother you?"
And Kelly replied: " Only In How Sloppy Your Man Works"
The Nexus-7 2013 is kinda like Bolo..... It may be a little "Sloppy" but with some assistance, it can get the job done...
But...... It ain't no Bruce Lee.
Like the Late Great Bruce Lee was.. The Mini is simply refined in how it handles it's business![]()
I would say the mini is some of an "over-refinement" really. Sure it does what it sets out to do and does exactly that, nothing more nothing less, but it lacks the flexibility that the Nexus 7 has out of the box. You say it's sloppy which is a complete opinion, so I can't and won't argue it, but for me, I call it Adaptable. It lacked a solid plan out of the box until I went through it for a day and set it up to exactly how I wanted it to run. My own keyboard, web browser, launcher, widgets, and accessories around the house. With all that out the way, it now does more for me than anything the iPad mini could. I now have Flash Video support thanks to a little side loading, Miracast to play the flash internet videos I want until YouTube stops crapping itself everytime I want to play a video (its a problem on every platform at this point), and TV portal + ES file manager to download and watch all the TV shows I like to keep up with.
Also, let me help you out with the whole Bruce Lee thing. Bruce didnt agree with the fact that Kung Fu and other disciplines were so strict about their teachings and methods for training (Much like I feel toward Apple) and decided to branch away from that style to create his own style called Jeet Kune Do, a fighting style that adapts to the opponent the person is facing, it grows and adapts with the person learning it and can achieve a fighting ability like nothing you've ever seen (Much like Android). Bruce Lee may have refined his style, but he never forced others to recreate it move for move. In fact look up JKD Concepts to see how far his style has grown and evolved by taking the best of other styles and mixing them with the original JKD philosophy.
