Hello all,

I just received an email from Fedex with a tracking number, coming from Stericycle in Canada (company that helps with product recall)

I should receive the package tomorrow. Hope it's my safe Note 7.

Will keep you guys updated

Please check if the phone is new or refurbished. Apparently carphone warehouse in the UK is shipping out refurbished units as replacements. It'll be interesting to know if everyone is getting refurbished units back or just in isolated cases.

If they send me a refurbished phone, it's going back for a full refund. All my correspondence with Samsung have said brand new and not refurbished. Considering my current 1 here is still unopened and not used, I would be seriously disappointed and mad to get refurbished.

Same here. If I get a refurb I'm going to ask for a refund. However, I don't see how they could have that many refurbished phones

Good news and bad news, it's a new Note 7, little black square on the box sticker.

it comes with a letter with drop off points, sadly the nearest to me is a 1hours and a half drive... (I'm located in Quebec City, no drop off point? What the hell???)

Check to see if it has a green battery icon per this...

New, safe Samsung Galaxy Note 7 units will feature green battery indicators

By the serial number it is not a refurbished one.
