Note 8 At&t US Unlocked Software updates in India

Hi! I'm using a Note 8 At&t US Unlocked (SM-N950U) in India. And my mobile is still running 7.1.1 with August Security patch. And I'm wondering how will I receive Software updates for my mobile , as I haven't received any yet.

Can any help me?

You could try Smart Switch to see if that can pull down the latest update. Others may know more, but not sure if an AT&T model has to be connected to an AT&T network to get updates. I looked on Sammobile to see if firmware is available for the 950U, but did not see it.

Smart Switch didn't work and it's too frustrated to see my 900$ mobile with no Oreo update till now and others have it. Couldn't find a way to install it too

That model number indicates that it is factory unlocked and not a AT&T unlocked model. These updates would come from Samsung then.

is flashing with Odin that bad? never done it before.. Was is the drawbacks of updating through Odin.
