[Odin] Froyo leaked packaged custom ROMs w/root and clockwork **UPDATED**3/25

There isn't a one stop shopping ODIN yet my friend.. you'd have to root then piece together yourself some ED01..I bet in a week or so they should have an all in one ODIN release..

Hi I think I fubar'd and did a flash rom after installing this... backup took a few minutes but it wont boot back up or go into recovery. The 'samsung' logo is stuck for over an hour and never progresses.

Any thoughts? Full wipe?

I need more detail , what was your setup before flashing, what package did you try to flash ....etc

I installed nemisis2all's latest OTB v1.3 kernel, which comes loaded with CW3...

Is it safe to assume that from here on out, pretty much everything we will want to flash will be compatible with CW3?

Or, is there any reason to Odin 2.x?

Thanks!

I think all the devs are trying to move toward Edify script, but no guarantee everything that comes out will be in Edify. Probably a good idea to keep CWM-recovery-all-3-30-fix on your computer in case you need it. I am following Adrynalyne's advice and still using CWM-recovery-all as it will flash both Amend and Edify script. I would think you could stick with the CWM 3.0.2.7 until you come across a situation where you want to flash something that is in Amend script.

gotcha.... thanks!

Also... lets say I do need to Odin back to CWM 3-30, will the OTB kernel overwrite it on the next reboot and go back to CWM 3.0.2.7?

First off DO NOT PANIC. there is a simple solution, just remove the battery , plug the phone into the computer, press and hold volume down and it will enter download mode. Please review all the steps oulined in this thread and try and flash again[/QUOTE]........

Tried resolution steps now screen is stuck on downloading and Odin is stuck on <ID:0/005> SetupConnection.., what do I do?

are you using a laptop or a desktop?
are you using the ports on the back of the computer?
is there a yellow box in the upper left hand corner of odin?
did you install the proper drivers or did you assume that they are installed because you were able to transfer files back and forth before?
did you close odin and reopen before you tried to use it again ?

This is what is displayed in the message section to the bottom left in Odin

Try again, this time unplug and close odin, then reopen Odin plug in and try again
