Is it easier to just wipe the phone and then go to 2.2, which is what I had earlier today?

well if its a problem just use debloated,,,or maybe tonight ill make an odin package with touchwiz installed on superclean, not sure if i can but ill give it a shot

Much thanks, I finally got back to my laptop to work on this. But anyway, I went from EB01 SC2.4 and flashed via CWM 2.6 last night to test it out. Freaking amazing as usual! Only thing i noticed was my mobile data did not work. I may have screwed something up when i flashed a theme though. I flashed the new Steel blue v1.0 and v1.1. Not sure if it is compatible yet with 2.6 because it caused my gmail app to FC (theme wouldn't work with newer gmail version yet from my understanding. I'll prob hold off on the theme again for a day or so until bigloof over in XDA posts an updated one to work with 2.5/2.6 . Personally, i think the theme is freaking amazing. Lot of awesome ones out there but this one just hit me and now i don't want to flash i different one since i like it so much.

Anyway, after I flash this modem via odin, can I also flash the newer kernel (with tethering) via odin too? Should I do a cache/dalvic wipe prior to setting up for ODIN flash, or just don't worry about cache/dalvic wipe?

you could just use my package on the original post with no data wipe and it will install the tether kernel and the modem

So i can just flash your ODIN package over what I have now? I don't have to drop back down to DL09 or DI01, then back up to your EB01 sc2.6 package?

Hey DroidXcon... you think for a rookie like me it would be easier to just wipe the phone and put on 2.2 or 2.3? If so, what method of wiping the phone would be the best?

What I'm thinking of doing is doing the hard wipe, getting the update.zip file on the SD card, then flashing 2.2 onto the phone... I'm pretty sure I had 2.2 before.

I don't mind reinstalling, I am just watching NASCAR anyway, then the Oscars whilst doing homework. So, I'm bored enough for time to give 2.1-2.5 each an opportunity!

all the super clean versions are missing the touchwiz launcher (thats what the dock with the icons you are referring to is) my packages are pretty much the simplest way to do things, they wipe the phone for you.

If that's the case, I wonder who I had before because I just came off of a version that had touchwiz. I could have sworn it was called super clean though.

Hey I have a question..I dl 2.5 with Odin and I remembered that flash seemed to work which made my freaking day (about time I was really getting upset that i didnt have it) well after that I got bold and decided to do a theme so I went with Midnight/blue steel (that theme is freaking hot), anyways i started to get fc on swype . I then flashed Adrynalynes 2.6 to stop the fc and it worked but now I lost flash on my browser, which btw makes me sad.. is there a way to go back and get flash? I tried reflashing 2.5 and it didnt work, I wiped dalvik and and reloaded 2.5 and still nothing..

check in the market that it is installed on your phone,,,then open the browser and do the following

menu button>more>settings>enable plug ins>choose either always or on demand

EB16 is actually for the Mesmerize device so fascinate will never see this. it was pieced together with EB01, probably because it had some better code.

Still having some 3G/data connection issues.

I flashed your ODIN package successfully but I'm still experiencing problems with a lot of my apps. For instance, Facebook will not connect and load my content (i get an error message saying there is no connection with the server), same with tapatalk, gmail, google nav in the car cradle (the nice lady says "no data connection), weather/news widget... everything. It's constantly hanging on 'Loading..."

I close the apps and try opening them again, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. After the ODIN flash, I didn't have to set anything up again, my home screens were exactly the same (minus the theme i had), all my apps were in place. Any idea what could be causing this... or how I can fix it?

My 3G icon shows activity (two arrows) and sometimes displays a "D"... Not too sure what it is.

EDIT: Just disabled Juice Defender and that seems to be helping. Not sure if it will last, but it's a start

Having an issue with what seems to be all of these updates. Currently running SC 2.6 and here is the problem sometimes when texting the screen doesn't time out after its done usually only happens when I set the phone down it just stays on? So then if I grab the phone and hit the off button it snaps a screen shot? Anyone seen anything like this? Wondering if there might be something wrong with my phone or if this a problem you guys know how to work around? It doesn't happen all the time just sometimes. Any suggestions are appreciated.
