yeah , cwm isnt anymore reliable, it is just more flexible, odin over writes the whole partition where as cwm just writes to certain files... EB16 whether it was flashed with odin or cwm just was not a stabel kernel overall

hey droid i have a question . do i need to flash the CI500_VZW_EB01_Froyo and then the EB01DB_DXC.tar.tar or can i forget about the I500 file alltogether

stick round close i am going to ODIN in the EB01DB DXC Tar.MD5 the the recovery all.tar sounds like a plan to me ,,but i always take yer word for it all..

I like the looks of Gunners Theme but when i tried to flash them i ended up on US Cellular.. ahahahahaha also can i flash Gunners themes if i am VooDoo?
PS?? do i flash each theme or flash the last numbered theme he posted ..he had a V1 V1.1 Ver 1.2.

The US cellular thing is because of the ROM not the theme. The one we are using right now is built from that souce so you HP on the browser will say that.

Usually it is just flash the highest number unless specified in the OP i would think and usually do

welp i skipped that !500 odin and now i have no directory so i'm gonna flash with Odin the I500 froyo ands while there re-flash the EB01 DB

i reformated my 32gb sd card and now i'm starting fresh all the way.. be roght back.

i had made a folder that i placed the essentual files in , for my fassy.
my sd card had shown 6 gb used when i took it out and i figured i had to much rewrites on it and that was taking up space and my system might have been to scrambled ..so fresh all the way..

I am just about to do the same thing. I have played with too many apps and have what I feel is too much residual crap on my phone. Every time I flash something new, I still have a lot of the old stuff.

I am lucky that I have another phone to play with apps on now (my daughters old Eris) and can leave my phone alone for that.

Time for a final build before the next one...lol

yea i just wiped 32gb sd card formated it and i has to install the I500 VZW FROYO to get a directory.i had wiped everything from sd card.
i Think i will still go with SC 292 VooDoo
try the theme out that Gunners post showed...
if it doesnt work again ,,i will know my fassy wont take it.. each of these androids seem to be different even in the same class,.

Maybe it is stupid, but I am gonna start totally from stock (eclair) and then move through all the steps up until EC01.

What issues were you having? The only one that I really had was the stock dock icons. The phone was correct to the theme, but the other 3 were still stock.

theres something else you might like.. get the Galaxy tuner from market and theres a few things there to piddle with but i love the EQ for sounds it has.. being half deaf a extra boost in db's helps ,,, i still have full volumn control..

Yeah there was something in there having fun with your SD card.

I am very paranoid with my contacts. I have them backed up to 4 different places (gmail, backup assistant, spreadsheet on the computer and in an old dumb phone that i keep around just for that).

Maybe it is just me, but I think that I am going to get away from voodoo if I can (not sure if the newer kernels are non-voodoo, I forget). I have seemed to have more issues with stuff (just little things, but annoying) since I converted. The downside is giving up all the voodoo goodies. I guess i just really talked myself out of it...lol

i jsut took a quick look at that app...I will have to give it a try, even just for the key mapping. I really do not want the search key down there...

That theme may not take unless you're running the ec01 rom found over at xda. Super clean is an eb01/eb16/ec10 hybrid.

I've tried flashing the dl09.tar radio through odin twice and each time it unrooted/restocked my phone ..then after re-rooting, flashing cwm-recovery all-fix through odin, I booted into cwm red flashed sc2.9.2 & otb-oc kenrel ..I dropped another kernel on my sd to flash but now I boot into orange recovery. I haven't flashed anything else besides sc ..anyone know what I did/doing wrong?
