On the GS6. What's more of a deal breaker for you, no removable battery or no SD card?

The market place continues to vote that is why iOS market share is down year to year. Only 15.4% for Apple and 80.7% for Android.
I don't think Android's market share is what it is because of higher-end iOS competitors...but because of lower end devices that many here would not be caught dead with. One thing Android has that Apple doesn't are those low-end devices that likely make up the vast majority of Android's world-wide market share. I love the Chinese and many of their products but I don't want one of their low-end knock-offs that is slow, laggy, and lacking in the quality that we take for granted in higher-end devices. Again, it is my perspective that those lower end devices is what really drives the Android market share. That is notable because I think the story would be different if only the mid-to-high-end Android devices were being compared to Apple's offerings.

I may be very mistaken though.

In the Note 5, suppose they kill the removable battery and SD card but make the battery 4500-5000mah and have internal storage from 64GB-256GB. For me, that would soften the blow and I could happily live with it, I think.

Not for me because now we're at a point where I have to pay a lot extra for that extra memory (iPhone?). At that point I think I'll go back to the large Lumia Windows Phone which so far still has an SD card. Much as I love my Note, I really like the WP operating system. They're lacking in apps right now but I think I'd be willing to deal with that if Samsung gets to radical. If it aint broke, don't fix it.

There's even a bigger deal breaker that people should be looking at:

According to new reports coming out of Asia, the newly-unveiled Samsung Galaxy S6 and SGS6 edge handsets both suffer from a pretty grievous fault — in the form of a display error that stops them properly reading touch inputs around the bezel.

There is a YouTube video that shows the problem in action. It's a hardware "problem" so there is no software fix for this.

I would rather have the storage space. I typically have access to charge my phone. Getting rid of the SD card is a deal breaker for me. I'm a fan of the note series from Samsung but if the next notes follow the s6 then I'm looking for another brand.

I never really understood why people complained about how ugly or cheap looking Sammy made there phones. It was alway more about the software and specs for me. Now that there is a glass back you also have to worry about breaking that side of the phone also. So for people who thought they never needed cases, they will have to be extra careful with this phone.

I will gladly take a plastic phone with faux stitching if it meant I could have a replaceable battery and an SD card slot.

I am in the process of making my Note 4 self aware.

... and that is just one of the reasons I still love this powerfully flexible Note 3. To me, however, it has always been beautiful.

I helped my mother in her latest purchase. She fell in love with the 1320 beautiful 6 inch screen, smooth as butter, lighting fast, great in sunlight, great battery life. Most of the apps she wants. And most of all, easier os for her.

If you have a lot of money then fine the 128 G is fine. Me i dont, this is where the SD card is a cheap and great alternative to add more memory. Is Samsung getting greedy like Apple? Overcharging for products because they know fan boys on either side will just buy them?

If you don't have have a lot of money why are are you worried about it there's plenty of cheaper good phone moto g for one why should samsung discount there premium quality icrap sure don't they whole SD card and removable battery thing is old technology and move on you should to

SanDisk just introduced a 200GB micro SD card. Just because Samsung isn't supporting SD cards in the S6 doesn't mean it's old technology.

Phonesuit and Mophie Juicepack are great charging alternatives.

Seriously, as I mentioned in another topic post, what is statute of limitations on letting this thread continue to be a forum for battery and storage crowd. 5 days is enough to get through the stages of grief to accept that the expandable storage and swappable battery are NOT going to be in the GS6.

Evidently, the statute of limitations is longer than we thought.

Threads stay alive when people keep replying. Just saying.

Point taken. These guys find insidious ways to post in other threads no matter what. I am trying to resist. It's hard to watch a train wreck.

As a long time Android user who moves between devices and OS's anytime I don't see either as a deal breaker for me. The real deal breaker is if the US Carriers (AT&T for me) don't offer the 128GB option, if they don't I see no reason to happily dump my 4 month old iPhone 6+ to get the GS6 Edge. I have wanted a 128GB Android phone for years, and this fits the bill. Yet the US Carriers love to jerk us around. So if its a no then I won't get one.

No it's not. It's actually pretty easy. People get obsessed with the drama. That's why these guys are posting in so many threads, they're getting themselves excited over the impending train wreck...that isn't going to happen.

Good news. VZW is offering all three flavors so that gives me hope that AT&T will follow suit.
