On the GS6. What's more of a deal breaker for you, no removable battery or no SD card?

Both plus the ip68. Now I have to treat my device like an effin baby. I chose Samsung way back because the build quality is sturdy even if it's plastic, that I will not to shell out extra penny to pay for a tech to reach my ageing battery and having a personal option of when to change from 32 to 64gb SD cards. What had just happened to Samsung's 's series.

Both. You know vzw will only try to sell the 32 gb version so they can make more money on online storage overages.

I like having an extra battery for emergencies like losing power. I was without power for 4 days a few years back with my s3 and was able to just switch batteries and keep one on the charger in my truck

battery.

People can move files around to fix non-expandable storage problem, but when battery wears down, there is no way to fix it. Greatly diminished resell values/long term usability.

Samsung is greatly sacrificing functionality for looks. I hope they would release different models to satisfy different demands.

Re: Does anything worry you about the Galaxy S6?

The writers at Imore are having brain aneurysms right now over the S6, so as a non-Samsung person I guess Samsung must have done something right if those IPhone fans are throwing such a fit

This!! Even with a case on it, I'd still be very worried if dropped!
I think Gorilla Glass 4 will do well enough but I'd still plan on using a case, as I always do and recommend.

Boy reene's **** must be hurting. I saw the article he wrote at iMore, what a hater. Ill admit the s6 stole the iphone 6 design but get over it. He doesnt work with phil and crew anynore does he? Really unprofessional IMO.

Re: Does anything worry you about the Galaxy S6?

Battery, bloat, and glass back.

Sammy hit a home run with this, HTC might want to take notice on how to generate interest and sales. Nothing like keeping the same size screen and making the phone smaller!!!!

Re: Does anything worry you about the Galaxy S6?

Non-removable battery was a bit of a let down but I can easily live with out it. No SD slot was a real blow and I kept (helplessly) hoping that the rumors were wrong and that it would have one. I'll probably be looking at the 64GB or 128GB version depending on the price. Will probably look to use cloud storage for my photos on the 64GB and use the majority of space for music and apps. The battery was a rumor I heard a few days leading up to today and I was surprised that they were true. Seems odd that you go from 2800mAH to 2550mAH but, like others have stated, I'll be curious to see the benchmark tests in the up coming weeks. The S5 was one of the best in battery life among high end Android phones from what I recall reading. Anything is an improvement over my well-loved S3 :D

Re: Does anything worry you about the Galaxy S6?

My concern is also the smaller battery and my personal favorite the micro sd card. I know the S6 has bigger storage which leads me to my next concern and that is price and how much it'll go up with bigger storage

The glass is a bit of concern also and I would have thought they could make it waterproof with the glass like the Z3

Gotta say they do look sleek though

This!!! At least a TPU case.

S6 Specs are solid and leave iPhone 6 in the dust. This is just another market segment for Samsung. It will be interesting to see how the 5.0 - 5.4" handset segment does with:
- no swappable battery
- no SD card upgrade
- no water resistance

These are deal breakers for me too. The SD card is for not only expansion but also backing up and migrating pictures, data, apps, etc. locally and not depending on cloud services which leave you exposed to all sorts of hacking.

Maybe these features are trending for the 5.5" and larger phones.

Only time will tell.

Re: Does anything worry you about the Galaxy S6?

Ok one other thing worries me about the new S6 design: how butthurt Apple and their legions will be. ;)

From what I can see the iPhone supporters are simply dismissing the S6 because they see it as copying the iPhone 6. They seem to be rather quiet about the S6 Edge but soon they'll be dismissing it too for whatever reason.

Re: Does anything worry you about the Galaxy S6?

The non removable battery and the lack of an SD card may mean that I ditch Samsung altogether and move to LG or Sony. It's a shame as I have owned all of the S series of phones apart from the S3.

In the UK we never get models with large internal memories. 128gb will just about do for me as I have a 128gb card in my S5 so I'll be losing capacity any which way.

You could always go with a Note Edge or Note 4.

So now that the Stylemiesters and have a premium metal bodyLOL. Can we please have a Galaxy S6 Pro?

So now that we taken care of the Stylemiesters and have a premium metal body......Samsung Galaxy S6, and a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, can we please have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Pro with:
- Swappable battery
- SD expansion slot

and some of the other features power users need?

What other features would you want in a S6 Pro model?

If sammy goes by their past releases there will be a mini too.

Re: Does anything worry you about the Galaxy S6?

No SD card is going to be hard to deal with. I have 700 pics on my GS3 with no way to move them over to a non-card phone...or do I?

You don't have a computer available that you can copy content to and from?
