OTA for Marshmallow 6.0 starts today!!

Was it worth it for all the work you had to do? I'm starting to think that the OTA's aren't even out, because I don't see 1 person that has it still...

I did it and I would say it is worth it. Once you do the one-time setup, the toolkit is always available for doing updates and it is easy to use.

What work? Use WugFresh. It will handle everything and take less then 10 minutes. Can even do it 'dirty' (keep user data) . If you use the tool, please $upport the developer.

Nothing yet either except for a useless security update. I am not sideloading it either after the hell I went with my Nexus 6.

Tried sideloading it using this link.

Instructions were for Windows yea, of course it failed sideloading it with a verification error. Only other solution was to is to wipe data, type commands like I had to do on my Nexus 6.

Update: Downloaded the wrong update but I know I got the right one this time. Tried again and failed again around 50% this time with this crap error in sideload/package.zip.

I haven't received either OTA. Not even the security update. Wonder why...

Has anyone else noticed that the 2013 N7 has been at the bottom of the list for OS updates? Even the 2012 version got updates before the 2013. What up wit dat?

Now I know why the sideload update kept failing. It is all Google's fault. They pushed the stupid useless security update LMY48T but because of this I can no longer sideload the update because it requires LMY48M which I no longer have. So now I have too choices to erase my device to install the update which I refuse to do or to wait forever as there is not one OTA update from LMY48T to MRA58K anywhere. This foul up is the reason why no one is getting the update. For those lucky people who did the get the useless security update and are still on LMY48M then you can sideload the OTA update.

I'm installing what is obviously the security update right now (9+ GB). This seems to be some kind of prerequisite to the 6.0 OTA update.

That is for the Nexus 6. The Nexus 5 & 7 have not prerequisite. If I would have known this I would have sideloaded the update but now I can't. I really want to get rid of Lollirot on all my devices. It was a terrible OS from the start with horrible standby battery life that causes sudden rapid battery drain that only a reboot fixes/

Marshmallow 6.0 is already so much better on my Nexus 6 I had to do a factory reset which was the worst experience I ever had never again but I hate Lollirot. With 6.0 it already has great standby time and it runs much snapper. Hope it would make my Nexus 7 faster as it was faster with KitKat but lags a bit with Lollirot.
