i flashed iced honey bun lite last night rebooted then flashed oc and bam boot loop. re did it like three more times couldnt get my hone past the bootloop. some reason it does not like oc any ideas?
no problems with iced and it is running great but oc is still an issue. i must have tried like 6 different flashes. i wiped installed iced and rebooted and then shut down flashed oc and espresso to see if maybe i flashed 2 that might help but nothing. its weird.
How is this effecting battery life? Does the ability to underclock while the screen is off increase battery life, or does it just offset the times when you're overclocked?
i havent really noticed much difference in battery life, but then again my phone is on the charger at least twice a day. Working 10+ hours in a computer room with poor service kills it. When im home it seems to last about normal. So i guess your mileage may vary.![]()
trying it out, when i first installed it, it was really sluggish, but when i applied the new settings it is way faster. i have option 4 rom. If it has probs i will bet it is the rom/mod config and then i'll have to upgrade to honeybun
Just a quick update. I downloaded every rom that oc should work on and not a 1 would boot after flashing oc.
[ROM] PureHero rom overclocked
i found a rom on xda that is overclocked and runs on my phone. it is purehero. i have the live wall papers working and everything. and i really like the rom but it might not be for some. no sense ui. i dont happen to mind. check it out at the xda forums
Does this OC kernal cause issues with wifi tether? I've been using a different kernal that does. Basically the whole phone hangs anytime you stop wifi tether (the normal way, you can use a task killer to get around it but that's messy)
