Last night just before dark there was a weird lighting effect going on. When I got out of the tree cover and looked up I knew why. The undersides of the clouds were pink and gray, but the tops were golden yellow where the setting sun touched them. There was thundering and lightning in the distance. Cropped and tweaked in Lightroom 4.

Wow the upload compression algorithm is terrible. Forget the thumbnail below. Here's a link to a better picture.

Took these tonight at The Wiggles concert. The first one is zoomed all the way in from Row U of the theater. The second one was zoomed in 3x from about halfway up the aisle.

:confused: ;)So many incredible shots prove that I picked the correct device... All of the shots are as close as I seen to regular camera quality.

Shot under C50 ceiling fluorescents:

I am loving this phone more and more, especially now that I've turned off all the automatic uploading to Google+, Backup Assistant Plus, and Dropbox.//and learned to turn off data when I'm in my house and wherever I can find wifi.

I had pre-ordered the S3 while I could still maintain unlimited data with Verizon, and then got cold feet and cancelled.

Unfortunately, when I reordered I lost the grandfathered unlimited data - never had to worry about that before.

Perhaps being limited to 2 gigs will help me deal with my internet addiction!

Re: Photos Taken With Your Galaxy S III Camera!

I hiked up to the summit of Mt. Diablo and took these. I used scenery mode and didn't bother to experiment with any other exposure settings. I'm impressed with the detail!
