This one worked for me to flash quattrimus:

We were talking about the download of quattrimus AOKP with your updater-script....

Re: [RECOVERY] Cannibal Open Touch v1.1 (HUGE update!)

Drew, please change the product device string to just "thunderc".

"thunderc_VM670" is incorrect, regardless of what blarf did in IHO.

Here is the assert from the official VM ZV9 update:

Code:
assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "thunderc" ||
       getprop("ro.build.product") == "thunderc");

And from the ZV9 build.prop:

Code:
ro.build.id=FRG83G
ro.build.display.id=ZV9.479A6632
ro.build.version.incremental=ZV9.479A6632
ro.build.version.sdk=8
ro.build.version.codename=REL
ro.build.version.release=2.2.2
ro.build.date=Mon Jan 30 10:42:53 KST 2012
ro.build.date.utc=1327887773
ro.build.type=user
ro.build.user=lge
ro.build.host=LGEARND3U8
ro.build.tags=release-keys
ro.product.model=VM670
ro.product.brand=VirginMobile
ro.product.name=thunderc
ro.product.device=thunderc
ro.product.board=thunderc
ro.product.cpu.abi=armeabi
ro.product.manufacturer=LGE
ro.product.locale.language=en
ro.product.locale.region=US
ro.board.platform=msm7k
ro.board.chipset=msm7627
# ro.build.product is obsolete; use ro.product.device
ro.build.product=thunderc
# Do not try to parse ro.build.description or .fingerprint
ro.build.description=thunderc-user 2.2.2 FRG83G ZV9.479A6632 release-keys
ro.build.fingerprint=VirginMobile/LGE/thunderc/thunderc:2.2.2/FRG83G/ZV9.479A6632:user/release-keys

I repacked this to say just "thunderc" and it installed quattrimus aokp alpha10 just fine. :D

I'm actually considering switching from IHO to thekraven's repository which will also solve this issue. Just waiting for the vendor trees to sync (takes forever lol).

[INFO]Big Update Announcement!
Cannibal Open Touch v1.2 has been released. Sblood86 and I have been working on some pretty substantial things, and they've become stable enough to warrant a new release!

About this release:
1) There is now an "advanced backup" menu item in the "backup and restore" menu. You can now create partial backups (in case you want to upgrade ROM versions but want to keep your data partition, and other cases).

2) When you install a ZIP package using "choose zip from sdcard", you are now prompted to make a nandroid backup. This is NOT required and you may choose "no" and the installation will continue as normal. There is a way to disable this prompt and that will be detailed in the upcoming documentation we are writing.

3) Nandroid backups will now fail if there is less than 400MB left on the sdcard. You will be asked to either continue the backup anyway (not recommended), delete old backups via a fancy-schmancy menu, or cancel backup entirely.

4) There is now a "delete old backups" menu item in the "backup and restore" menu. This will allow you to view (and delete of course) any backups you wish. Pretty self-explanatory.

5) In a previous post, I had stated that future releases of Cannibal Open Touch would be built against thekraven's repository instead of IHO. This is no longer the case, however I have applied a local fix to the IHO repository that forces some build.prop values to be "thunderc" to fix the issues many of you had installing some ROMs.

As always, hit up the first post for the download![/INFO]

sblood86 and you are working on the OM version right? I love this recovery.

Trying to would be a better phrase to use. Building these things for devices we don't have first-hand access to is difficult.

Yea I know.....BobZhome lets me test his CM9 for OM....
I will get the logs from advanced/debugging after I finish my Unbrick guide for OV, I have a .bin :) or well I finished that, now to make the fix MEID guide....this is all on AF here: http://androidforums.com/optimus-v-...4-guide-unbrick-any-optimus-v-noob-proof.html
I also have the optimus S .bin Will write that guide based on my OV guide and MEID fix should work the same way.
I know the S .bin will be handy for you ;)

Re: [RECOVERY] Cannibal Open Touch v1.2 (latest update: 06/24/201

I wanted to point out a minor graphical bug. If you hold down one of the on-screen buttons, then drag your finger to another button, it highlights the new icon but does not un-highlight the old icon. So you can drag your finger across all four buttons and have them all highlighted. Of course, only the button you are currently on top of will actually activate when you release your finger. Just FYI!
