Re: [RECOVERY] CWMT Recovery 5.0.2.7-th7 (T is for TOUCH!)

[INFO]CWMT Recovery 5.0.2.7-th7 released!

We have a couple awesome fixes in TH7, thanks to sblood86!

1) The on-screen log has been re-enabled. File lists no longer overlap the touch controls (BONUS: on-screen log text no longer overlaps the touch controls either!)
2) The issue with corrupted nandroid backups should be resolved.
PLEASE MAKE A NEW NANDROID BACKUP IMMEDIATELY AFTER FLASHING TH7 TO AVOID FURTHER ISSUES!!![/INFO]

This is awesome Drew. Really nice job!

I have officially switched back to your CWMT Recovery now that the on-screen text log is back.

Thanks! :-D

Can this nor be downloaded by a mobile browser? The download page is just a bunch of gibberish. Anyone else seeing this?

For anyone who has been watching the source repository, we ARE attempting to bring legacy Amend scripting support to CWMT Recovery. This is a long and painstaking process so please bear with us.
Not to sound noobish, but is this Xionia uses? If it is I will finally make the jump over to this recovery.

sent from my CM7/Reborn w/ 1 Gb internal storage Optimus S

Always happy to help, hit that thanks button if I did

Xionia does support both Amend and Edify scripting, but it's based on a much older version of CWM. Re-adding Amend support is going to be a very big challenge but I'm nearly certain it can be done.

Unless you use Froyo-based ROMs, it won't matter which recovery you use.

Drew, what does the following picture mean? Block? If they are "blocked"... why are they still there??

What is the procedure for getting blocked? What can you do to get blocked?

Sorry... I know it's a stupid question.

I blurred out everything so ya'll couldn't find the user I was talking about..

1) Nowhere does that say "blocked", it says "banned"
2) We all know who got banned recently.
3) Violating forum rules can get you banned. Like thread crapping (hint hint, this should have been a PM instead of a post in this thread).
4) The procedure to get banned is as follows:
  • Act like a jerk all the time.
  • Don't read anything.
  • Use derogatory and/or racist language in your posts.
  • Insult (or attempt to insult) AndroidCentral developers, advisers, moderators, and administrators.

Now back on topic:
I have re-compiled and re-uploaded CWMT Recovery twice and yet the Android browser still shows a bunch of garbled text. For now, you need to use a computer to download it. Sorry for any inconvenience.

[INFO]ATTENTION:

Development of CWMT Recovery will be slow over the next few weeks. An untimely family event occured earlier this evening and I will have much less time to devote to development of this or any other project. I will still be around as often as I can to help answer questions, solve issues, etc. Thank you for your understanding.[/INFO]

I definitely like the wipe system, cache, and data option but I was wondering if it were possible to have an option to wipe boot, cache, data, sd-ext, and system (and maybe dalvik-cache & cache partition). That would speed up flashing a new rom exponentially! Those are probably the most used ones if I'm not mistaken =] If this isn't possible then pardon my ignorance >_<

All in all though, great recovery! ^_^

Any word on the mobile download? I'm still seeing nothing but garbled text.

*edit* just saw the ops post hope all is well man. Would you object to a mirror if someone could supply one until you're back?
