[Review] Seidio Innocase Active Limited Edition

Man if they had an "EVO Red" X style, I'd be all over it. Matching the red bezel around the camera and under the kickstand would up the pantie dropper status.

that would be awesome, I swore I wasn't going to get a case with this phone but that would be too cool to pass on.

Anyway... any chance for you to put up a few pictures of the actual case? I'd like to try to see exactly what the color looks like when it's not a promotional photo which was probably photoshopped anyway.

I love the Amazon look myself, the brightness contrasts with the black nicely.

Yea, I like the matching red idea so much I'd be willing to have a go at it on my own. Its a bit hard because the camera bezel is metallic and a couple shades darker than the kickstand but I like the camera red.

A metallic base coat, candy apple red and a couple coats of gloss would get pretty close. Even better would be a red aluminum exoskeleton upgrade! Haaawtnesss

I may be bustin out my air gun soon...

What do you say Seidio, hook us up with a matching red?

Amazon needs to get more of these cases in stock... I just found out about them the other day and all the different colors are "temporarily out of stock". I want the black and burgundy one.

Any Recommendation on Car Docks? I have a 6 1/2 hour drive coming up and want a car dock for all my GPS needs. I also bought a Jabra Cruiser for my car!

The official Sprint universal car dock is expensive, but works well. Around 40$ when I bought one in store. Tight fit on the Evo, but of course no integrated charger or anything.

Quite a while. I ordered an all black one on Sunday and it still has not shipped.

yes, we are working on the holster for Innocase active. It is about 2 weeks away.

Will you be making a leather horizontal case that is compatible with the Innocase Active? I currently have the Innocase Surface II, but I don't like it that much because it feels loose, so I want to upgrade to the Active. I have been waiting for the leather case for the Surface II to come out, but that hasn't happened yet.

I am not really a holster guy and prefer a leather case over a holster, will you make one for the Active, or will the one you're creating for the Surface II be big enough to accomodate the Active?

Bit the bullet and ordered the active innocase from androidcentral just now.

Hopefully this does a better job than the Bodyglove case sold by Sprint.

I just realized today that the Bodyglove case scratched my Evo, which pissed me off. It is scratched along the shiny black bezel surrounding the evo screen. I wouldnt mind scratches from me dropping the device, but a case should not scratch the phone!

Just got my Innocase Active today with the holster directly from Seidio. Must say I like this case a lot better than the Innocase II as it feels much more solid. Also love the version I got directly from Seidio better than the one on Amazon as it provides more complete coverage/protection of the back of the phone and the sides of the phone.

The only thing I don't like is that the spring for the clip on the holster to hold the phone in place feels 100x's less stiff and secure for the Innocase Active than the spring on the clip for holding the phone in place on the holster I had for the Innocase II. This has me worried that it'll be easier for the phone to accidently fall out of the holster if I momentarily catch it on something or that it will wear out a lot quicker over time than the holster I had for the Innocase II.

Since there is a Seidio rep monitoring this thread, I figure I can ask this question here. I just want to make sure that the amazon active limited case will fit with any future paraphernalia that Seidio releases for the EVO. I like the X design more, but would like to make sure that any car holster which they make for the Active will work for the Active Limited. Thanks.

I got my active the other day. I had to crack up at the "Time sensative material" stamp on the box. lol

Fitment is great and leaps and bounds above the Body Glove
two things to note:
1. Power button very hard to get to on this case. I tried jamming paper in there. It fixes it, but causes a bulge and obviously not a great fit. Not much Seidio can do though

2. in the corners where the inner case fits in the outer case, they wont stay fully flush. not a huge deal, but there is a gap in those areas

It deff adds some weight, but a very nice piece. I like it the best out of the ones I had for it so far
