Does it require a full wipe or can I just do the cache's?

Caches could work but I always recommend a full wipe for optimum performance and reliability.

Yes, I love those to. Some people complain about them but I love them. If you do get sick of them you can shut them off int he Display Settings Menu.

What transitions? I don't anything like that on display settings..... I am running sp1

I believe it's the animations. You have a choice of None, Some, or All. Scott, correct me if I'm wrong. BTW, CleanRom 2.4 is working great, with just a Davik and Cache wipe.

Saw that you put this in 2.4 "freeza's "StockKernel2.08.651.2update" I went to the XDA thread for his kernel to check it out, i saw that he has some additional ones

Those 3 seem to do some additional things with the second processor. Have you played with any of those? Are we able to try and flash those kernels on top of your rom to try them as well? I'm assuming you stick with the one you do for reliability issues, but if i'm just messin around it might be fun to see what those tweaks do.

I've never had any random reboots with any of the versions of cleanrom.

No, if you are having random reboots it may be to due to some rouge app or a "dirty" install. You may want to do a full wipe and reinstall.

You can use those kernels without any issue at all. They may be better on battery as well! But I chose the kernel I did because of performance. I think the one I choose was best for me. But by all means, please post your results with the other iterations.

Hey I'm running clean ROM 2.3spl and I am about to flash the 2.4, can I just wipe dalvich and cache and not user data and flash 2.4 over the 2.3 sol?

You can but I always recommend a full wipe. Others wipe Dalvik and Cache without issue though.

Scrosler is there any way you can add something to help stop the carousel effect on the home screen? This drives me nuts.

If you switch launchers the carousel effect goes away. If you can't live without the sense widgets though.. then i assume you'd have to wait for someone to hack it. I think i've heard enough people complain about it that someone will come out with a fix for that pretty soon.

It's an okay effect but has little use. Plus I'm heavy fingered so I make it spin all the time when I don't want it to.

+1 I'm with Syphex re: the carousel!!!

Great ROM, Scott!! It's stable and I never have any problems at all with it. Everything works perfectly.

But I do have a question...is it safe for me to remove things like Qik (never video chat with anyone) and stock Voicemail (have Google Voice) with something like Titanium Backup? I know I could do that on my Optimus and I would assume I can on my EVO, but I wanted to make sure.

If you run a different launcher, do you lose the cool little bells and whistles with Sense? Like turning your phone face down to silence it or it ringing louder because it's in your bag or pocket?

Silly question, I know...just curious.
