Lessee, I am using the Sprint Scene theme. Games that shove ads at me are Angry Birds and Balloon Gunner 3D. GPS widget has not worked since last update, this has been a prob for several 3VO users. Thanks you very much for taking the time to respond. This is looking more and more like something I want to do. It's been said here before, but the level of support you show for this ROM is awesome!

The Sprint scene will work fine. Its part of the ROM. I thought you meant a custom theme.

I'm not a gamer so i will let someone else answer that. But I believe blocking would work in Angry birds.

If the GPS widget was broken for you in the official Sprint release then it may as well be broken in this ROM too. I dont know for sure as no one has ever said anything about it.

We may have found an issue with Skype so if you use Skype you may want to hold off until I can test the alleged issue. Not sure if its user error or not so I will have to test that myself.

No they are blocked for safety. You never want OTA's on an custom ROM.



I dont know what issue you are having so I cant say. But I can say that no one has reported an issue.



I dont know what theme you are using now. Its 50/50. Depends on who made the theme, how they made theme, what base they made the them from, what files they themed, etc

If you tell me the theme I can test it.



Depends on the game. Some games skip the host file and do some sort of fucnky direct method to get ads. IF you tell me the game I can test it.



You will get all that with this ROM.

Yeah, I may hold off because of the possible Skype issue.
Some people have had luck with a factory reset fixing the GPS widget issue. I am tempted to try this, but am wondering if the reset would remove my ability to mute my camera shutter sound. The on/off switch was removed in the last update. Mine was set to mute, so it is now permanently muted, which is fine with me. I was wondering if a factory reset would simply re-add the on/off switch or permanently set the shutter sound to on. Anyone out there know?

Skype issue was confirmed nonexistent by myself and a few others. No issue. User error on this one. Just figured I would put that out there just in case it was a ROM issue, but its not, lol

I noticed that I didn't have the option for video and unistalling and re-installing Skype worked for me. Not sure what happened as it worked fine on 2.4 and now after a re-install it is working fine on 2.5. Thanks for the info Scott!!

working great for me but i want to know how to get back the 3D gamelofts app since i bought a few of those games and cant figure out how to get them back on. any ideas? thanks in advance.

I'm thinking of flashing some of the different kernels that are over on xda...would I just simply wipes caches and flash? If so, would that replace the kernel that's baked into CleanRom? As always, thanks for the help guys!

Flashing a kernel is pretty easy, but you should check with scrosler about what is compatible with cleanrom. Lots of kernels won't work.

I can look into making a GameLoft pack for you so you can download them back... Give me a day or two...

Scott - I am looking to try bcblend v3 out on 2.5 and wanted to know from you experience with this what the ideal oc is to give a good balance of performance and battery. Let us know. Thanks man.

Use Virtuous OC Daemon and clock it to 1.62 and leave everything else at VOC defaults.

VOC is similar to setcpu in some aspects.... But... It has no GUI. You just flash it and forget it. lol.

Its an all inclusive package. What you linked to was the source code.

You can re download the games and apps. Gameloft games have there own app in order to download/install them. So if you haven't purchased any gameloft games you have nothing to worry about, if you have, well Scott said he is working on it. I am sure he will get it working. You the man Scott!
