Im in process of writing as script like the recovery script. It will make all one easy piece of cake.

Way cool. I am gonna re flash tonite(late) after I run thru the xda dev. Guide. Will I need to out the zip on the root of my SD again? Or can I just re flash the one I used originally?

Also, def gonna drop some cash via PayPal for the ROM and the support. Thanks Scott!

I think you just need to put the ROM on the root of SD Card. I am not 100% though. Newboyx will need to answer that. I have been pretty busy so I haven't even looked at that guide yet. Once I do I will be putting out a script to simplify it. But I am working on an update to SenselessROM right now...

Any way to get the iso selection option back into the camera? Pull the htccamera.apk from 2.5 and install it as an app? What about the previous htcmusic app with fake beats (liked it better)? Same method?


Edit: It worked fine. Cleared both caches in recovery and all is well

1. I presume that the bluetooth contacts transfer is gone? Seems to me that it should have been left on there because I happened to find it very useful, because I use my old pre as a PDA and a hard backup of my contacts

But far more important 2: streaming bluetooth to my car sounds like absolute dog . When I try to access the sound mixer/enhancer it says it can't be used in blue tooth audio mode. Well when I was on the stock rom A2DP streaming sounded pretty glorious, i could also switch between srs and different preset eq's.
Not too happy about this. Whats the scoop? I would like to be able to use Beats with my car stereo, or any mixer honestly.
 
Is there a way to make the overall system sounds louder? It seems since 2.6.1 everything is generally a lot lower than before even including the speakerphone.

Finally got cleanROM installed. Big ups to scrosler and especially newboyx for the support! One thing, I keep getting error messages saying gmail has stopped unexpectedly. Like every couple of minutes.It works fine, even after that though. The battery still seems to be draining fast. Even faster that when I was on stock. I have just done a battery pull to see if that helps, I have done what I normally do, uncheck autosync, screen brightness not at 100%, etc.

Also, I would love it if future updates could preserve gameloft games. Any chance of getting the Spider-man game from stock to carry over to future editions of cleanROM, Scott?

Might try a factory reset. Your rom will stay flashed but everything will be a clean slate.

edit: flashed the new kernel. Dida factory reset. keeping an eye on batt life and will report,

Called gameloft and they sent texts with links to redownload my games. Spider-man game has been pulled due to bugs I gues, so they gave me N.O.V.A. 2 for free.

Hahaha so the new kernel I installed was mwalt's but I was able to redo what I did last night. So WiFi and 4G are good, but the WiFi tether icon has disappeared.....? Fact reset?

And I factory reset before I flashed the stock kernel again....
