Im torn... I have it done but... It starts adding mods to the ROM that detract from the official CleanROM motif. If I ddont add it to next rev (which will be out soon) then I will post it as an add-on.

I just flashed my EVO... This is my first time and it really is awesome... I would still remove a couple of things like qik ... But in all it is awesome....

Nevermind, i figured out the problem. I just wiped out some of my caches and rebooted and it worked. Thanks for the concern

I just flashed my EVO... This is my first time and it really is awesome... I would still remove a couple of things like qik ... But in all it is awesome....

One mans "remover" is another mans "keeper...." It is a very fine balance to decide what to chuck and what to keep. I know from years of ROM building I will not make one single ROM that is perfect for everyone at the same time. I can only try my best

You can always mod the ROM to your liking in the dsixda kitchen or take a less complicated approach and use Titanium Back up to remove anything you dont want.

Oh, no! Please don't feel my response was based on the assumption you were disrespecting me. Not at all. I was just explaining why I do what I do. Please don't think that at all. I was in no way offended. Not one bit. Sorry if I made it sound that way. I am very easy going person (for the most part) and I value ALL feedback on my ROM. Please, by all means, continue to critique it. I don't feel disrespected in the least.

I was looking thru the replies, but I don't seem to see anything about the wireless print function that was included in the stock EVO 3d....I hope I didn't miss it, but does anyone know if that would be just an .apk that I could find and reinstall? I understand that there are other ways to do it, but i wanna stay "stock".

IF you want to stay stock you can. There is a stock rom inside the stickys... also yes the print is just an apk file...

Sorry...I didn't actually want to stay stock. I wanted " a cleaned up Sprint Stock ROM" I like this ROM, I was just wanting to know if anyone knew where I could locate the Print apk file if that's what it was.

There are two of them and you may have to put them in as a flashable zip to /system/app. I highly doubt they will install to /data/app.

Just sayin...

I really love this rom, it is awesome i really like Sense so this is really the rom for me. but just wondering if its something i did wrong, i have noticed a couple of things and before i make any changes wanted to see if any of you had experienced the same..
1- i noticed that the sync-ing icon on the top task bar comes on goes every few seconds....i do not know why
2- when i have not been doing anything with my phone for a while - say for instance i just leave it on my desk for 1 hour or so, when i come back to it is not connecting to the net, i have to reboot it so it will connect and re-sync. (weather, email)
i am going to try a re-flash and see what happens, but i wanted to see what you guys say

Based on just what you are telling me there is a sync problem. It would cause BOTH the symptoms you are explaining. But the question is where does the sync issue come...
So..
My first inclination would be to check "Background Data always On" and make sure all your accounts are set to auto sync. This can be in the settings -> Sync menu. If those look proper (menaing accounts have the green icon next to them and BOTH boxes at the top are checked) then I would beleive there is a general connectivity issue (especially seeings how the icon for sync comes on and off in rapid succession). Eitehrway, I can assure you its not an issue, pre se, with the ROM but possibly with a failed wipe / factory reset or failed install. But those are unlikely because a bunch of other stuff would be failing...

So this brings me back to my first assumption when I initially read your post... A. Your not set up to sync properly, B. you are having a connectivity issue.... To resolve you can troubleshoot as noted above... Or follow the instructions below
