Dude, you're telling that to the guy who built the rom.
If that's the case the response is unclear.

You asked if I was using a custom kernel. Yes I am, this is the default kernel in the ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1224659
I hope that clarifies because I am now really confused, lol
Can we just flash 2.1 over 2.0 or should we do a complete wipe with this update? I think I will just try flashing it with just clearing the cache and if any issues can do a complete wipe and re-flash.![]()
LOL so you are using the kernel that comes with the ROM. That's what I wanted to know. Sometimes people install another ROM.

Thanks. I just wiped the cache and flashed over 2.0. Everything seems to be working properly. Have a great day and look forward to the next update!Should work...
Its a modidfied stock kernel that removes spyware. Its the only option we have that this time. HTC will need to release the kernel source code for us to be able to dig and make it overclock, no lights, etc. Once again we are stuck waiting for HTC![]()
couldn't agree more!! great ROM!!The best ROM to fit my needs something simple, fast and real stable...
No.Does CleanROM 2.1 include the radios from the latest OTA update or do we need to flash these separately?
scott - i have read a couple of your responses over on xda that you don't necessarily like/use titanium backup. my question is what backup do you use/suggest? i have been using titanium and didn't restore anything from it when i went from 1.3 to 2.0 - low and behold my issue we couldn't figure out is no longer happening. not sure if it had anything to do with titanium, but thought i would see what you use/recommend. thanks man.

Both Yo dont have to flash the Radio and its not included in the ROM.Sorry for the confusion, but "No" we don't have to flash the radios, or "No" the radios aren't included and we do need to flash them?

Use the included updater to download the update. Then manually boot into recovery (the updater lacks this function as of this writing) wipe and then flash like normal.i have a question for anyone that knows the steps on how to update this ROM from 2.0 to 2.1 ?? the update app that was included does not even work ..so whats the alternative on future updates when the updater app does not work do i have to download the 2.1 zip and flash it all over again like i did 2.0? if so let me know thanks ... who ever helps me will get 100 cool points lol holla at me buds![]()
