I am still loving clean rom. I put on 2.2 today and it's working great so far.

I have but one request. Options for different battery up top. I can't read the numbers showing percent of battery left. My brother in law on his phone has a cool circle type one. That would be cool. Just something so I can see the status. Currently I run the battery widget so I can easily see the percent.

So for a couple days (since I got everything working right again) I've noticed that the HTC Clock/Weather widget on my home screen does not update the weather automatically anymore. I have to open it. When I go in to the settings the schedule sync and update schedule items are grey and not able to be selected at all.

Any idea why, and what we can do to fix this?

Hmmm... I got an idea but its just a shot in the dark...

1. Its not the ROM, its a setting somewhere because it works flawless for me...
2. Do you have background data enabled?
3. Are any of your other accounts auto-sync properly?
4. Did you restore ANYTHING from back up?

Hey Scott,

I saw in somebody's rom post on XDA that they added a "space" style background on the weather lockscreen. Is changing the background to the lockscreen stuff pretty easy? I think thats a pretty neat idea, but i'm also a pretty huge space / astronomy nerd. So if it wasn't something you cared to mess with it would be something i'd like to try and do myself.

EDIT - Also, I've done a full wipe, loaded 2.2, flashed the most recent radios, did a PRL update, but i still see 1X in places where i've had low signal but never had it before. Did anyone ever figure out what causes this? Did i miss a step?

I have to say it.. this is the best Rom ever.. it was my first Rom and it has managed to stay like that... No viper, no synergy for me...(i tried them.. way too unstable).. this is great and getting better everytime.... So keep tweeking it....

Send me a PM and we will figure it out. Most if not all people that flashed the updated radio said they received a boost insignal. Also, less we not forget sometimes Sprint has tower issues so if you ahve another phone with you at that location check the status of that signal. But send me a PM of where you are in the process, steps taken and where you are at now (not physically but in the process)

Both those guys cater to a different audience. We all have our niche audience. I am sure you will find just as many people say that they wouldnt switch from Viper or Synergy as you do people saying they will not switch from my ROM. Its all preference. I prefer a clean fast stable ROM built off from a know stable core. Those guys go for the eye candy and bleeding edge os builds.

Downloaded the senseless mod weather lockscreen zip through rom updater. Did the usual through recovery but can't figure out how to apply it to the lockscreen. When I do menu, settings, personalize nothing happens. First of all, is this even compatible with cleanrom? Love the rom by the way!

i have an issue with switching from wifi to 3g , it takes a very long time, and some time doesnt even connect. Just says "Turning On".

Thanks! All is working like it should now. I just downloaded the rom and played with rom updater lastnight and it was there when I checked for new. Guess ill have to play with a few of the other ones!

I had someone report that on XDA too. I told them to wipe and reload and ensure they have the latest radio. No more issue.

I am not bashing them, all i am saying is theirs is not stable enough for me, what they do is great... But i need my phone working perfectly all the time. When i tried them i did it because i was looking for long battery life, i did not find it, i still don't know how people say they getting it with them.. Again, i think their job is awesome.. Just not for me...like you say,they have their own audience...
The time you (including them) spend on tweeking and testing is laudable, so i dare not critize it...

Scott, just got a force close on Rom Updater. I went in to it for the first time after updating to 2.2 Yesterday. I added the theme server, checked for updates, went to the very bottom font, and looked at the preview. went full screen with it. Then hit back button twice to go back to the theme screen so I could choose another font to look at, and it force closed on me.

Not a big deal, just thought you would want to know. I'll let you know if it does it again at all.

Actually before hitting post, I launched, went right to themes, selected another font, again force close upon going back. I then tried looking at an overscroll and when I went back, it didn't force close. Looked at another overscroll and that time it did force close again.

I just downloaded 5 or 6 things with no force close. I then did a preview, no close, did a different preview and when going back it force closed on me.
