This may surprise some of you (or maybe not who knows), but I am a seriously devoted fan of hip hop. So beats is nice for that bass.

Haha awesome.. you won't be disappointed this thing is running sickly for me... Give the UI a chance to warm up to you.. get absorbed in the sexy blues and deep blacks...lol

Big reggae fan myself.. I listen to a lot of everything though. Testing some beats out now and loving this stuff.....

In case you (or anyone) misses it mentioned in the droidhive thread.. The Beats Audio is fully integrated. So just use DSP Manager to select what you want in terms of equalizer, bass boost, etc.. and let it do its thing. Make sure you set for Phone Speaker and Headphones (their in different panels)

I dabbled in reggae for a while but i was more into dub. like, Scientist, Lee scratch perry, so forth.

Gotta check out beats. had it on the tbolt after the rezound came out but i think there was something screwy about it.

PZ builds have the Trinity kernel right? The last M2 build with Franko's M2 kernel would cause my phone to not wake up and a battery pull would not always fix it.

I am on CND right now but it is not the same.

Axiom is typically more aggressively undervolted, and may cause more lockups and screen of death. If you raise the values some that might solve the problem if you're experiencing it. 2defmouze posted his settings a few pages back which you might want to check out for a reference if you're interested (i believe the settings he posted were on pz 14 not m2 however).

I've been pretty lucky with the voltages. The last 3-4 ROMs have worked well with the assigned levels. Each ROM I end up thinking this might be the one I stick with, but they just keep getting better.

I don't believe you can turn it off, its integrated... though I'm sure you could hack something if it bothers you, maybe some system file can be frozen in TiBu... idk though, if anything is overwhelming or hurting your music just use DSP Manager to adjust the settings/equalizer/etc.. Might take a little time to find the perfect setting but probably worth it. I've been listening to music all morning and appreciate the touches (though my earbuds and car system probably don't even do them justice, tbh).

The note's voice actions app, from the little I've used it, just seems to be a nicely polished voice control app. Its based off vlingo, if you ever used that. I set my long-press search to just use it now instead of google voice actions.. seems pretty accurate and has more options than the stock voice actions. One thing to note... When setting it up it will give you the option to change the "wake up command".. don't do that as it seems to be causing the whole thing to force exit if you do, just leave it default. If anyone already has, simply clear data from the app and it will go back to normal/working mode.

I'm really liking the voice app I have tried a ton of them in the market and this ones is one of the best I've seen. Having the different voice option buttons on the screen after activating the app is nice to have just wish it could change the alarm time.
