hey hero_over, any plans for "baked" froyo soon?
Nah, figured once I get down to the 3rd best kernel, I'm not really gaining much (if anything) vs. extreme kernel. I like playing around with these roms and kernels a bit, but I don't have enough time or patience once I got past a few steps. Also, now that hero is off xda and the downloads are not on his site, there's no support anymore for fixing bugs. ACS has a new rom out tonight, and their developers practically live on XDA. Solutions may go over my head a bit, but they've always tried to help.
With froyo coming out and the roms and kernels changing daily, I value stability first, knowing that there will probably be 2-3 updates on roms or kernels this weekend anyway.
Sorry to bother...BEFORE I install the Froyo rom, what app should I use to backup my data? I used clockworkmod, but that seems to be the entire ROM that I backed up...
What about Contacts? Will Titanium bring that over too?

just an fyi. all my kernels use an altered voltage scaling method. my kernels are the only ones that do this and i can guarantee much better battery over any other kernel. unless theres some crazy new battery patch that makes android itself use less battery. but as far as power draw from your cpu. mine is hands down the best. not even bragging. but i see other peoples githubs so i kno this. even works for all has great battery. and if you locked up during a call make sure you are not using any profiles in setcpu. sounds to me like your having a screen off profile. and also try using 1.2ghz instead of 1.3. on ultimate and step 2 even i have experience lockups on 1.3 and thats because ive linked the voltages of 1.2 and 1.3. will look into making a seperate bracket for 1.3ghz
all you need to do is charge to 100, wipe battery stats. let it drop to 0. charge to 100 and do your thing. supposedly itll take a day or two of use for it to actually be calibrated. but honestly i dont see a difference either way.
but heros kernels do save you battery. unless you were using xtreme at 1.2 ghz then it may save you battery. i used it at 1.6 and heros 1.2ghz saves me battery. i can tell when i check using juice plotter at the graph when i wasnt using my phone. heros will be horizontal. and xtreme will be diagnol
and ox, if you look under about phone and it says "hero over baked snack" instead of "xtreme kernel rum powered" then your good
I apologize immensely.
What is the ROM based off? Android 2.1 or 2.2?
If it is 2.1, then i need to use Odin to flash back to a DI8 stock rom,
If 2.2, then DK28?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
