[ROM] Android Open Kang Project- Jelly Bean Style

I get the green icons if I restore Nova before I upgrade Nova to the latest version. The Nova version in AOKP may be older than the one in the market.

Yes. Opening the app did not restore the icon to the home screen. The app can be launched from the bad icon on the home screen, it's only the graphic which is wrong.

I was only trying nova because it had a way to save/restore my home screen layout, whereas with the default launcher I had to redo everything every time I did a clean flash. If it can't restore icons for some reason I'll just ditch it.

How about deleting the home screen icon and than long pressing it in the apps page(s) and dragging back to position on your home screen(s) .
I use Nova too and it restored with the JB Milestone 1 Rom, I have still to do a 4.2.x rom.

Keep us in the loop.

Thanks, this was it. Went to Play Store and upgraded Nova and icons came back immediately. Only connection to AOKP is it has an outdated Nova.

I wonder if the Bluetooth fix will work with CM? I'm running a 4.2.2 nightly.

Just a question about 4.2.x does this fix the issue I got when we went from ICS to JB and the pictures viewing? By this I mean when I first got the phone and took a picture I was able to go into gallery and see the thumbnail, after the jump to JB after a picture and check gallery i see a icon. my way around this is to cut and paste files into a folder on my PC and than to cut and paste back to the phone in explorer.

Thanks for your time.,

Not an issue on 4.2.x
Must be on your end.

I remember the Gallery not refreshing but I don't remember whether it was on ICS or JB. Haven't seen it for a while though. I did use a Gallery refresh app from the Market.
So it should be safe to flash the latest ROM. AOKP or AOSP which ever you prefer.

<=== care to elaborate? started when I did Jakedays port of JB. Keeps going through AOKP Milestone 1. Anything I can check on the phone settings?

You're not restoring system data are you?

Nothing aside from that to elaborate on, really. Haven't seen that issue mentioned by anyone else.

dont think so, i clearly remember it happening after I moved over to Jakedays JB port. Obviously to was a "clean" install. Its no biggie. Thanks anyway.

1 after I wake phone and unlock by swiping y the two long white lines on either side, to show there are more screens?
2- how turn off vibrate when using keyboard
3- is there a way to change the font or style of the clock on the lock screen?

Thanks after this tomorrow after try my BT and see if I have any issues has patch file in saw work or should I update to the unofficial build posted a few back.

Thanks.

Yeah, on the lock screen, you can swipe to the right side to launch right into the camera, or to more screens on the left you can place widgets on.

For the keyboard, go into settings, then Language & Input. You'll see AOSP keyboard listed, and there's a settings button next to it. Press that, then uncheck the box that says vibrate on key press.

On the lock screen, press and hold on the clock, and you can remove it. You can then place another clock widget in its place. I recommend DashClock Widget. :)

liking the new toggle screen. need to figure out some of the new tweaks.

Does the patch file work for the blue tooth work, I get no connection at all or does the unofficial build correct this?

Does anyone know why Nova Launcher isn't in the ROM anymore? Is it causing conflicts?

Not a big deal, it's in my restored apps. Although I don't want to use Nova Launcher if it's crippling something.

I used AOKP build 4 since the day after it was released. Unicorn porn FTW. No real issues. Used Nova and TiBu without issue (for the first time).

Only problem I am having, and it is not Bluetooth audio related. Audio is good to go. My only problem is my car does not show the Track/Album/Band info any longer (A2DP?). Is that what everyone is having an issue with or, am I just missing something.
