I downloaded the rom manager an took the steps to install from there, but since I upgraded, my carrier tag won't change from virgin. is there updated conversion file for this ? " swiping status bar to change brightness is one of the cool lil features"

Is that brightness swipe feature in this release? I was so jealous when I head of this on the galaxy s line of phones (I think those were the ones...)

Ok flashed to test. Still no mms for me. It looks like aosp uses his own kernel? Has anyone tried with zefies kernel?

To keep myself pleased until the new flashable zip comes out, I changed the mod date in the build.prop to reflect today's date

In other news, looks like this new build comes with rom manager preinstalled, but does it even work as advertised? I thought I saw that it doesn't. Essentially, will I be able to install a newer version of clockworkmod recovery via rom manager, as is required for you to be able to do much of anything with it? I might get adventurous and attempt the rom manger instructions for optimus v over on xda.. after full backup of course..
