This might be a dumb question but I am having a tuff time finding it out.... I have zygot 1.8 the only problem I have noticed so far was my 3g signal disappearing so I now plan to update to 2.0 where do you guys get the updated versions? is there a site i can keep checking back to for updates to download?

Galaxy Nexus [CDMA] - RootzWiki

Thats a good general link. In the Dev Forum you will find a thread from DroidTheory named Zygot 2.0 and a date. That thread will get updated to 2.1 and a new date soon. Just follow instructions for updates in the original post.

Can anyone test something for me.

Say I am streaming slacker or google music. When the screen is on, doing a constant ping it looks fine. As soon as the screen goes off, the wifi uses less power and the pings are huge and thus I get pauses in my streaming. Is this normal?

I use an WNDR3700 hooked up to plenty of devices and have used 2.4 and 5ghz.

Screen on

I have this up and working but there is a problem. Sometimes the screen doesn't work properly. Like I press the power button, but the screen isn't on yet when I touch the screen it vibrates.

edit: Could just be because airdroid was on. turned it off and now it seems to be good.

DT's just rebuilt 2.1 from the ground up so be sure to check it out! ROM is currently being uploaded up now

Was hoping to flash 2.1 tonight, but looks like enough has changed that a full wipe is needed. Looks like I'll just have to wait a couple of days. Oh well.

2.1 is a little faster than 2.0. It's also overlcockable higher and underclockable lower.

What's more important, though, is I have a huge increase in battery efficiency when running my SetCPU profiles. With heavy usage, I have been consuming less than 10% battery per hour. This is a much more respectable battery life given that I'm using my phone every five minutes.

What's your normal conditions max clock speed when the screen is on (when your using the device)?

The op has been updated.

Anyone try the blackout mod yet? If so mind posting screen shots

I really want to flash the latest version, but Iove the way my 4 softkeys look. I'm going to be patient and stay with 2.0 until those work again.

So far I'm loving th3ory's roms.;)

What is the procedure for installing a MOD? I'm new to ANdroid so I'm not sure if it's the same as flashing a ROM...

I allow it to run up to 1420 under normal conditions. I underclock my processor all the way when the screen is off, though.

Yesterday, I ran a test on my phone. I got about 13 hours of life out of it with about 3.5 hours of screen-on time. I went ahead and plugged it up once it hit 4%. In my SetCPU profiles, I have my max clock speed set to 700 mhz once it gets below 40% battery life, though. Interestingly, the phone was only slightly sluggish with it underclocked that much.
