One more thing. On CM9, after switching to SmartassV2 I'm doing just fine on battery and I'm not getting anywhere close to the lag from earlier. Its like a different device.

One thing about the smartass governor is that when the screen is off it will lower the maximum CPU frequency, which on our device I believe will be either 320MHz, or if your minimum CPU frequency is above that, it will use that instead. That could explain how it is helping with battery.

I decided against sticking those changes into my build.prop. There were a decent amount of people reporting issues with it, and I haven't had any issues with my current setup anyway.

Couple things to report:

On AOKP, do NOT use the Honeycomb lock screen. I don't know how to explain it, but it is severely broken. When I choose lock screen style after flashing, for some reason this is the lock screen that is checked in the settings but not what is actually used. ???
AOKP again, the carrier text gets cut off on the lock screen when using things like the weather panel. It gets shoved down lower on the screen.

Noticed the nightlies stopped. Fixed them.

CM9 was broken because the recovery size increased beyond the VS660 limits.

AOKP broke for everyone.

I am on AOKP 7/14 nightly. Do we have mms sending and recieving working yet? there is no way for me to test until I am out around town and cant go around testing different roms just to try to get mms when that would render my phone part useless

James, Powmining had posted a fix for the MMS in Post #66. I think TDM said he was going to fix it in the next nightly but I'm not sure if he did. The fix did not work for me.. But it seems to have worked for others.

The nightlies have had an MMS fix since about 7/6. I've been waiting for someone to confirm it works or not.

Could someone show that this is the correct fix? It doesn't work for me. I've been looking for a fix for downloading over wifi since around here near my house I don't get 3g at all unless I'm up North. I'll flash to whatever version is most stable, has least bugs, and has a working mms sender and reciever. I just don't want to have to wipe my data ie go to cm7 to download these pics, cus its just weird asking the biddies to resend them

The system detects the SD Card fine. but some apps don't I've tried sending voice clips and I can't because it says the SD Card isn't mounted. also when sending a video clip the video the rec you can't even see a clear image it looks like a TV in a wrong channel

I don't understand your last sentence at all.

Also, MMS is not working for me. Sending, that is. I've always been able to receive them fine, before any "fixes" were added or anything. And in that fixed config, I think the max sizes are messed up. I was able to send screenshots (480x320) when I had MMS working that one time, however I was not able to send pictures from my camera (3MP?).

Things have always been able to be received...

By the way, the build.prop doesn't include the fixes that Powmining's zip added.

Those last 2 are in 3 things all next to each other too (Verizon_Wireless-->Verizon, 310012-->310004).

yep! pics work fine

SO so is this working except a few issues with mms and video?
Im running a CM7 (also beta) and im thinking about flashing this (after a nandroid backup)
As long as i can make phone calls and get texts ill survive, will this work for me?
