[ROM] CM7.2 Port for Optimus S by thekraven 3/9 zvd only

Re: [ROM] CM7.2 Port for Optimus S by thekraven 2/7/2012 zvd only

WOW. So far, perfection.

It's nice to have such a fast, snappy, and extremely stable ROM.

I used an old gapps and installed google play:

XDA Google Play .apk

Edit: Kraven beat me to it

Testing right now, so far no bugs to report... only thing I would suggest is change the default Wi-Fi sleep policy to "Never"

I'm not sure why people would ever want to turn off wifi... my phone lasts 3 to 4 hours longer when on wifi (connected that is, not searching).

This is a great ROM, been using the RC0 version for months. Really appreciate the work. Going to try one of these new ones and going to try a dirty flash just for fun. Wish me luck!

Shout out to DoesItMatter...recognize you from the Gargoyle forums. Seems we have similar taste in our devices. :)

Links are working intermittently for me...had to click on them a few times. Don't give up!

3-7 mini update.

Fixed camera focus muting
Added color changes for the date, battery and signal status. It changes when you select clock color and Requires a reboot. Thanks to Jerryscript.
Goo-inside.me app added. Currently working to get support added, So not ready yet. Only thing you might find in the dev/thekraven folder is the 3-9-2012b build which has these changes.

Just wipe cache/dalvic cache and flash in recovery.

If you have any trouble, just reflash the 3-7 roms and gapps.

I just installed (clean install, formatted system data and cache beforehand) and I have a transparent status bar and no clock. Should I try the old hotfix or try a clean install again or what?

You need to change the clock color in settings, under status bar tweaks. Set color value to your desire.

@ thekraven....the latest miniupdate boinked something, it now takes a reboot to see the changes made to your lockscreen. But that's all so far. Thanks for keeping cm7 fresh for us optimus users!!!

Oh, I tried this but it didn't take until I disabled and re-enabled the clock. Also I noticed the statusbar color option. If I set it to custom color (and reboot like it says) the status bar isn't transparent. I haven't tried the other options cause I like it the way it is now and don't want to mess anything up. Thanks.

Settings, CyanogenMod settings, Interface, Status Bar tweaks, Clock color (be sure show clock is checked). Change the color to what you want and then reboot for it to show.

edit - ah! I see you got it, more or less.

Cannot change ring tones, even with an immediate reboot. Also the brightness, using the notification bar cannot be changed unless you reboot first. After some time, it will not change unless you reboot and immediately change. Back to the straight 3/7c version now and all is well. Now to go play with ICS some more...... ;)

hmm must be a few files that I missed.. There's a 3-9b build that should work with all the changes.. I'll post the link later, but it's in my goo-inside-me dev folder

Flashed cache, flashed Dalvik cache, flashed this file. First attempt aborted (Status: 0). Second attempt worked. Random apps stored on SD card seem to be missing, even allowing for usual SD card load time and a good bit more. On second reboot, got the "Low on space" warning; internal storage only has 212 KB free for no discernible reason. (Cache cleaner reveals that no apps have any cached files.)

Me too. Dirty flashed over the top or 3-7c plus miniupdate. Cleared cache and dahlik Locks up in boot.

Tried a clean install plus gapps, and that is fine, but so little space I cannot restore the apps that I have in use with all the previous versions. Went into TiBu to delete apps before the restore, and I cannot see what it taking up all the space. (?)

Re: [ROM] CM7.2 Port for Optimus S by thekraven 2/7/2012 zvd only

Have there been any developments in regards to the mic working with headphones?

Re: [ROM] CM7.2 Port for Optimus S by thekraven 2/7/2012 zvd only

Aww I see what happened. Here is the 3-9 update for 3-7c users. Goo-inside.me Downloads - Downloading 3.9.2012a-cm72RC1-IHO-Kraven-thunderc_LS670-signed.zip

The other update is for 3-7d users with the market fix. Those builds would need a full wipe as dalvik is moved out the cache.

So how would the 3-9 update do with a fresh install? And which gapps package would an interested party need download?
