Im in the same boat kraven had to revert back to earlier gapps . Do not know what caused it. And yes I'm using the official 8-28-2011 version and is working fine!

ok thanks for the feedback.. The 8-28 Gapps should update to the new market automatically. I'll take the 11-6 version down.

not for me in the slightest maybe you have to many processes running can always restart your phone or close some heavy apps that are on in the background

me either! the only thing i see that gets sluggish is the terrible android market. every time i update to a newer version, more and more issues start happening lol.

I know this is quite unordinairy but why did dim get removed in brightness?
If you return it could it be 15? according to the file I mean 15 - 255 I found it to be the lowest possible lcd-backlight # before blackout.
and I hate the keylights going out so for anyone else wanting always on:
The Picasticks LED 1 kernel is the most recent picasticks kernel only screen rotate doesn't work if you want always on just set /sys/class/leds/button-backlight/brightness to 255 and READ ONLY with the LED1 kernel the key backlights will stay on until a reboot.

Dim was triggering the stuck auto brightness bug also. I'll work on adding a few more setting in the next release

I have noticed with my phone that once you start to get close to running out of memory, it slows my phone down! reboot and good to go! Also i use a cache cleaner! And also check your clock speed! Overclocking has slowed my phone down before, as well as it being underclocked. Anybody having issues with the wifi not connecting after phone is on stanby with the 11-06-2011 barebones? Going to try a reboot and see if problem gets solved, if not a reflash

Thanks, I was wondering about that too. Also, in some testing using the program Elixir2 I was able to get the percentage down to 10% before it goes to full blackout. I don't know how accurate that is though since the old 'Dim' setting shows up as 12% in Elixir.

I had wifi issues with 11-03 but not with the latest build.

Wifi tether apk isn't working. Use the Garden Wifi tether from the market, it's much more stable. I'm able to download games at broadband speeds with it... plus.... it's free

Does anybody happen to know where I can download the boot-animation used in Drew's CM7? The flashiness of the default one in this ROM gives me a headache.

This ROM is looking good. Thanks for your efforts!
I agree with the suggestion someone else made that more granularity in the signal strength bar would be nice (and this granularity exists in the stock ROM). I might use the dBm meter as an alternative.
One minor glitch found:
CM Settings -> System -> Update notifications
results in an immediate error:
"The application CyanogenMod settings (process com.cyanogenmod.cmparts) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." [Force close button]
