Has anyone had any market issues, saying that the phone is an uncompatable device for the app you were trying to download?

Before anyone says something about this being the wrong thread, this only happens to me on this ROM.

Still can't get the voice input working on HTC_IMe keyboard. Here's one that i made in the gimpster's kitchen. HTC_IME_themed_by_gIMpSTa.apk . Just dl to your sdcard install like a normal apk.

I can confirm mms working on the 12-12 barebones, after full wipe and install. Using Google voice for voicemail and sms, but mms sent with stock messaging app, no mods flashed for fix just straight as the barebones comes (becided the normal tweeks and themes)

So, if you do a dirty flash (wiping caches), MMS doesn't work, but if you do a full wipe and format, it works? I did a dirty flash, did a test MMS and its forever stuck on sending. Regular text messages work though. (something is using 3G data though)

Not sure what's going on but my battery at 40% after 3 hours of barely any use while at work is bullshiiit... I have 2-3 bars in the area I work at and its most def. not user error (Android Savvy)....

Since then I went one Twitter once and facebook one now im at 30&

Made a few mods available.

• 12/15 Testing Sprint dialer code app thanks to Teamwin SprintdialercodesCM7.zip . Now we should have #*#* sprint code functionality in CM7. Test and report back. I'll dig further and see what works and not.
• 12/15 Bravia post processing engine. Supposed to help with video viewing and picture viewing. Sony.bravia.engine.tweaks.zip I couldn't tell anything really, just making it available. Would this be an option to update prl and profile without reverting to a sprint based rom? I know you would need your msl number, but that would be sweet.

That's what i'm looking for, more than likely only for a manual prl update on the phone. Right now it has limited functionality with our phones. It won't take my msl. I'll keep working on it.

1. What is the best way to switch over to adw ex?
2. Do i have to download the Google apps through the gapps installer ever time? Or, can i flash it,i assume there are some frameworks or something included, and just restore from titanium?

I installed the adw ex thru the market. You can leave the old version as is or back it up in tb and uninstall.

I'm testing that right now. Installed google apps remained installed

I just install ADW EX. I use Titanium Backup which restores my settings for ADW EX

I think you need gapps installer to set up your google and market accounts. After the initial google rush, I use Titanium Backup to get all of my settings and apps that google backed up ages ago and have changed since that backup.

Just an update about my market problems...

Almost half of my apps were marked by market as being not compatable with my phone. I tried changing market versions and wiping the apps and re-downloading them.

No joy...

I wiped my phone and installed the newest barebones and gapps fresh. Things appear to be working properly now.

No more dirty flashes for this boy.

Can I put that new market (vending.apk) into the previous one with MMS and VVM?

Also, are the Car Home apks required?

Also, the sprint dialer code app doesn't work, or I'm doing it wrong.

since i have a new reason to care about my "new" phone again i'd like to "trim the fat" so to speak...
meaning i'd love to clean out my sd card but want to know what is safe to delete and what is necessary to keep on my sd card....
i dont know if its ok to clean off everything or not,,,,then make backups of my apps with titanium...
i do know i need to keep my Rom and recovery backup just in case...
any thoughts?

Transfer all apps to phone (not stored on sdcard). Back up your sdcard to your pc, do a full format and then replace what you want (like the folder your pictures are in and such). Everything else will be reinstalled on reboot. Keep a copy of your nandroid of stock either on your sdcard or on your pc for future needs.

I like to keep the gapps zip for future update needs, and the DebugFormat-SYSTEM.zip (should be flashed before flashing roms as part of a full wipe as stated)

12-12-2011 Barebones:

Screen orientation rotations sometimes does not respond. Google Sky Maps is stuck to nadir once in a while. Something probably wrong with accelerometer readings: it looks like one axis is stuck on 0.

Issues resolved with restart. Saw this behavior in previous versions too, not sure which: 11-20, 12-6 and so on.
