Which one are you trying to use? And how did you install the kb? From a backup, market install, or other.

any chance of getting the HTC_IME keyboard to work correctly on this rom? (it works with exception of the microphone button so you can talk into the phone and it puts what you say into the compose area of a text message)

SwiftkeyX installs fine from Amazon for me.

Try a fresh install of it. Wipe Swiftkey data and uninstall via titanium backup. Make sure you have Amazon Market installed and do a fresh install of the swiftkeyx from a new download or backup without restoring data. You need to accept the license agreement again. Then go thru their menus of choosing keyboards.

id you pm me with your email i can email you the file i put on my sd card and then navigated to it from a file manager and installed the keyboard and then the clicker.apk and it all works amazingly even callibrating the keyboard!

That's not the problem, when I select a keyboard in the settings menu, it Deselects when I leave.

do a full wipe and then install the keyboard activate it and then imedietly restart your phone through the power menu

Noonebutkev are you using any type of ext3 apps2sd like s2e or dark tremors script? I was having the same problem but only if I tried to install the keyboard after I set the apps to go to sd-ext...Just try installing the keyboard first thing after you install the rom...It should work

There is a nuance voice input apk in post 5. But the servers never work for me. Voice input for texting. Etc on CM7 - xda-developers

Ahhhh.... I love the dirty flash. I use my phone constantly, all day long. I never have the time to do a full wipe and I usually find myself waiting until I have a day off to update this ROM. It just takes too damned long to set my phone back up the way I had it.

I updated to the 12/12 ROM and have noticed when I record a video, the sound is barely noticeable and you can't hear anything you record. Any ideas?

My mms isn't working in the 12-12-2011 release. I did a full wipe before flashing, and I've even tried the 12-08 mms fix still nothing. Did I miss a step? PLease help, its my wifes phone and shes about to murder me!

Try turning off the camera click sound in Settings>>CyanogenMod settings>>Input settings (scroll down), then reboot and test again.

I can confirm mms isn't working. I don't use it a heck of a lot but still.

I know it worked in the 11-20 build so if you want to revert you can

I can confirm mms working on the 12-12 barebones, after full wipe and install. Using Google voice for voicemail and sms, but mms sent with stock messaging app, no mods flashed for fix just straight as the barebones comes (becided the normal tweeks and themes)

Hix, good clarification. I did a dirty flash (cache wipe and flash) from 12-8... so maybe that has something to do with mms issues.

I usually have to reset my density down to 140 from 160. I had to do it again with this update. So, no, it doesn't appear to have been changed.

Yeah no density change, only the Roboto font from ICS. I'll make the old font available too.

The MMS should be fixed in the 12.12 builds, but I'll keep looking at it. It's the same setup from the 11/20 builds. The apns-conf.xml match.

Try this is you load the 12/8 MMS fix. Goto go to Settings/Wireless&network/ mobile network -> Access Point Names APN, menu key, reset to default, system will load the APNs from apns-conf.xml

Or if you want to fix it manually there.
On the APN screen, click the menu button,
You may see three settings. USCC, CDMA 1 and CDMA 2 (or Sprint1 and Sprint2)

Remove them all.

Choose New APN, make sure it's all lowercase

What's the MMS behavior? Stuck sending or not receiving?
What carrier is it from? at&t are known problems

I'll make a few more MMS apns-conf.xml you can flash. I see on newer Sprint phones it's a little different now.

mms seems to be working for my nephew (i just flashed this rom on his phone an hour ago), but i did the gapps with VVM fix
