I always change the status bar to opaque/black/solid or whatever. Transparency seems to sacrifice readability, IMO....

On the first boot, when I turned on wifi, it did a little dance where it seemed to connect (wifi icon replaced 3G icon on status bar, etc) but then went back to 3g, and when i went to the wifi settings, it did eventually get IP address and show status as connected. Definitely could have just been a fluke though, i'm about to reboot again. I'll let you know if it has any other issues.

EDIT: I just flashed one of Dont Panic's metamorphs for the UpwardSpiral themes and now i'm stuck in a reboot loop.

EDIT 2: Tried re-wiping cache & dalvik, didn't fix the loop. Going to re-flash the 2-4 build. It's just strange because i installed the same metamorph last week and there was no issue. It's possible that one might need to re-compile the metamorph zip package with ZipThemer so that it works with this build before flashing. But what do i know.

Yeah you will need to redo the zipthemer. Make sure that theme is compatible with the new T9 dialer.

MD5 is clean with Box. Phone calls, SMS, MMS, GPS (wow, fast even indoors, impressed), wifi is perfect for me. Will test BT when I retrieve my headset tomorrow.

Dirty flashed, wiped cache and dahlik; that first boot sits so long on the Sprint logo, I begin to think it failed, then the screen dims and the haptic buzzes my desk, all is good. I'll see if I can find a nit to pick when I am more awake and alert tomorrow.

Oh, and forgot. Noticeable improvement in scrolling, switching screen to screen in CM7, and long vertical scroll in browser, ReadItLater, and Tapatalk.

Alright, re-flashing did the trick. I'll try recompiling the zip before attempting to flash a morph again.

Can't test bluetooth right now, but MMS, WiFi, and radio seem to be working fine. GPS locked and accurate to 10 meters, looking good thanks as always for a great rom, thekraven.

I'm not sure if this is related to this particular ROM, or this particular build for that matter, but does anyone know why it seems to take so much longer for our modded phones to boot when compared to stock LS670's?

just the first boot, it needs to build the cache.

And the voice button now wakes the phone too and ends call. Still can't get the voice mapped to it.

I noticed there is a bootloader option under reboot in the power menu

My phone is flying with the new build! Data speed is through the roof!

I wouldn't bother, it is a dead rom.

settings. CM settings, lockscreen, widget options, widget layout. Only thing is that the carrier label doesn't move.

You can, just the build prop will say the 1-16 build, but shouldn't cause any problems. I'll probably make a new one if this passes a few more days tests.

Ok, my audio streaming in 3g has actually worked really well so far, so I will wait to install that mod until I feel like I need it. Don't stream video too much so can't report on that. Thanks again

Actually, I've been wondering, where are the first and second boot animations (currently the white on black LG image and the Sprint animation) stored? I know that the third can be altered from inside a running Android OS but are the first two cooked into the ROM? And since I've never seen a ROM that changes the first image, is that one hard-coded into the phone?
