Kraven, is there any big changes between the current release and the 12/22b that was out for testing yesterday?

Just a framework tweak with surfaceflinger that didn't work. I was trying to get the gingerkernel to wake from idle with screen on/off animations.

I guess it depends on what you are trying to do. You can push any files with the terminal.. But if installing the Rom for the first time, you will need to do all the data wipes in recovery.

Sorry for the noob question ... I'm using the 12-12 build right now. Is there a file that I can flash which will update to the 12-22 build? Or do I have to format and flash the new build? Thanks

you could just wipe cache and flash the new version, and flash Google Apps again.

CM7 development update: Handset mic with no-mic headphones.

• Getting closer, I can make calls with normal headphones with no mic, using the phone mic. Regular headset with mic functions properly.
• Currently works with the modification of the headsetobserver.java in the frameworks. Testing a few kernel fixes too with htc_headset.c and msm7x30.c patches.
• known issue with Skype calls, when it connects the sound routes to the phone ear speaker. Just unplug and plug in the headphones/rca adapter.
• these fixes could help with official Gingerbread too.

Nice one! Too bad that I've already gone and bought a set of headphones that include a mic or I'd ask to test too.

Are you using the ics theme by Sonny sekhon? I think it might be an issue with the theme... When selecting it, it states that some aspects of this theme will not display properly. I email Ed the theme Dev. Well see what we can work out

i have tried a few things to get my mms to send but to no avail.....
i am running 12.12.11g-CM7.2-IHO-Kraven.zip
and 12-8.MMSfix1.zip ....

i can send plain text messages just fine and i can receive mms .... i get the dialog "sending" but nothing happens..

i've read alot of posts but everyone says that the got theirs working...i must be doing something wrong..

This was an issue with me from the 12-8 build. I tried the MMS fix and that didnt help. I dirty flashed 12-12 over 12-8 and it still didnt help. I wiped all and did a clean flash of 12-12 and it fixed it

After a dirty flash or applying the patch, go to voice dialer and say "open A P N" it should bring up a apns button., click it. Then press the menu button, then select reset apn to default.

There you can manually enter the sprint apns too or double check with the correct settings. I'll add that info when I get home

Settings issue...

I have had almost every single one of your builds, and the last two are frankly pissing me off lol my issue is that whenever i try to edit one of the main settings, they do not stick or instantly revert. Like changing the brightness, if i turn off the screen on back on the brightness is upp again. Or th wifi, if i try and enable it it will turn on and then instantly turn back off. Im not sure what to do. Please help me out!

i opened the voice dialer and when its "listening" i say open APN and its not hearing any commands i give it...
when i use any other "voice" app i have there are no problems with it "hearing " my commands

i tried to manually get to the APN settings by.....
Settings/Wireless&network/ mobile network -> Access Point Names APN, menu key, reset to default
but there is no access point settings within the mobile network menu....
there are just options to enable data,,,international roaming,,,national roaming,,,cdma network preferences...and system select......and within those there are no options at all for APN settings or to reset to default

my google voice and voice dial did the same thing. Turned out I has"install anywhere" checked and they both had been moved to sd. Moved them back to phone and now alls well

clean installed? I had troubles with settings sticking in A few builds from Oct Nov, especially the notification widget functions. But recently i ve only had it happen after dirty flashing... Which I no longer do. Waste of time, end up doing a fresh install shortly after a dirty flashanyways.

Jasonevil posted the setting for go launcher about a week ago. In advanced settings, turn on high quality. And some option to turn off wallpaper scrolling

Full system/data/cache wipe

Fresh install of 12/22 with latest market and VVM fixes

Working nice and smooth here - great build - very solid and no issues.
