[ROM][CM9][ICS][4.0.4] Cyanogenmod 9, Android ICS 4.0.4

@OathKeeper1212, It doesn't work on gummy or CM9 by lupo either. (Lupo's CM9 works with P500 stock kernal)

I know this, I never said it didn't. I was trying to say the kernal doesn't even work on old builds.

i have a p505 on new baseband as well stock gingerbread wish i would never have updated lol should have kept 2.1 and old bb. so im fairly new to the phone android things lol so my question is when this kernel is finished will it write over the new bb kernel and let us use ics or is there another way of doing it.

and thanks _Arjen_ for all your great work from looking at the source and how quick you are getting results you are an android genius

hahaha, it seems thats everyones is logged in to try a new kernel as soon as arjen update it 8)

LOL yeah it seems that way but you have to think this is the most exciting thing going on for the P505 and P506 users. specially since LG dumped the thrive and phoenix os support. the last statement i seen was that lg said they would not release gingerbread onto thrive and that the phoenix would not receive any more updates after 2.3.4

but you never know but it is good to see others working on a kernel and ics for our little phones

Wait are we supposed to partition the sd card through custom recovery. Im trying to follow the preparation steps Arjen was doing and it still wont boot.

Lol i like how everyone is online just sitting around waiting XD i'm refreshing like every 1-2 min.
Other than that, i've completed 4 stages of 20 logos :D

It's strange it doesn't boot, I took our kernelconfig and just changed the screendriver. Had problems with the driver from cm-sources on compiling, so took the driver from original kernelsource. This compiled without problems. Need a kernel log to see where it goes wrong.
Will post an instruction on how to get this. It's difficult to solve bugs if you don't have the phone.

Just one little question, with the p500 kernel, does it boot? If not I might need to patch our kernelsource.

Send from my phone...

Well, its just you and me once again ::D and I've never attempted flashing a p500 kernel. Ready for the kernel log when you are :). Oh btw, do you have a skype arjen? I think it would be easier for me to communicate with you that way...

No Skype, but do have GTalk.
I'm not at home today, so can't start before this evening.
Going to use the original P505 kernelsource as base now and port all needed 3.0 drivers to it.

It does not boot with the P505 Kernal. I don't know where I could get the P500 kernal to test.
