By both you mean the rom and the 04292012 gapps?

yes both of those. still it says that "unfortunately settings has stopped" whenever i add the password to my wifi network

What Bluetooth issue are you referring to that mrg666 fixed?

If you look at the bluetooth address all of them will have 43:25:D1:00:00:00.

Check the changelogs and fixes. A different patch was used months ago. Alpha 10f was the only build missing it. To correct it requires a data wipe.

That is usually from old data. Go to Xionia again, mounts and storage format boot, system, data, cache. Then flash the rom and gapps.

Re: [WIP][ROM]COLD AS ICE-CM9 Sprint LS670 5/6 ZVD basesband Alph

So I was experimenting with some different settings last night, and think I've discovered some things:

By turning off 'system time' and instead setting the time locally, the clock drift issue has gone away for me. This is huge. I'll probably download clocksync from the market to periodically make sure it's on track. Shouldn't have to make it sync more than a couple times a day, though.

Also, I tried changing the cpu governor to smartassV2, instead of the default (interactiveX ?). Anyway, I then downloaded CPU spy, and it confirmed that it was going into deep sleep much more than it was before. That should mean better battery life (as long as the screen isn't on, it'll be able to use much less power). I just changed the governor last night and took it off the charger almost an hour ago, but have only lost 2%. That's much better than before... so far.

I've also been changing up some of the display and performance options to try to get rid of that damn scrolling issue in gmail (also shows in boat browser mini for me). Although, in the browser, the page load shows when going to tab preview mode. Odd.

But people should try out the clock drift fix and confirm whether or not that actually works for everyone. I have a feeling the governor change will also help a lot of people.

I tried the manual time setting, didn't work for me that's why I use clock sync

Thanks Kraven, I had that issue on 10G, I did a complete wipe of my phone. Also wanted to let you know that I can't power down the phone with the ac adapter connected, it will re-start again. I usually leave it charging at night with the power off. Great job by the way.

Yea, that's what I thought when he stated there was some "new" fix that he was referring to the one you already corrected.
the Bluetooth calling is still broken on 95% of ICS roms. So its not just us :(

Welp. Clock is drifting a bit again for me now. I dunno what had it working temporarily, but I guess it wasn't the manual setting.

Welp. Clock is drifting a bit again for me now. I dunno what had it working temporarily, but I guess it wasn't the manual setting.

I tried it and it went off by ~45 minutes in a couple hours. I think the lag we see is the difference in local time errors caused by ICS somehow vs the actual network time. For some reason ICS lags in reading or displaying the network time via the OS to the display. It might be related to running an advanced demanding OS on much simpler hardware that intended. That gives more credit to thekraven that it works so well!

Clock Sync forces it to update semi successfully for me, with lags of less than 5 minutes and most often within less than a minute.

Re: [WIP][ROM]COLD AS ICE-CM9 Sprint LS670 5/6 ZVD basesband Alph

My phone doesn't have a clock lag issue. Which I find kinda interesting. I'm on optimus v. I guess sometimes I turn my phone on from sleep and it'll be a few minutes off, but if I turn the screen back off and on again it's the correct time. I was wondering, what exactly do the memory management options do in the performance section of the system settings?

Like, what does ZRAM and purging of assets do? Do they help performance? and do they have any negatives to them?

That IS clock lag!

oh. :P haha well why is it such a big deal if all it takes to fix is turning the screen on and off again?

imagine a situation where you may need to have an alarm go off at an exact time. well, you plug your phone in, go to sleep, screen shuts off, you get clock lag, dont wake up for work on time, get fired from work, cant pay your cell bill, lose your beloved optimus, and all because you had clock lag.

...CLOCK LAG KILLS!

So I have to stay awake all night long turning my phone on and off to make sure the alarm goes off in the morning to get me up at 5:30? Seems like a poor solution to me.

I've missed morning wake ups and important calendar alarms because the clock lags, then phone wakes up and jumps past alarm time, so no alarm. Bad juju.

I've had clock lag but my alarm always goes off within seconds of my wife's. We have them both set just to make sure, are you using the built-in alarm or one from the market?
