CM9 Alpha build for Sprint optimus S
"COLD AS ICE"
ZVD only
These are public test builds, so expect bugs. There won't be too much to changelogs till Beta. Test away and report bugs and what works for you. ETA's does kill puppies. So don't.
What works so far
Calls, 3G, wifi, gps, sms , MMS, camera with preview(alpha10), video camera with videocam illusion from the market, native usb, adb , youtube video but not hq smooth.headphones no mic, gaming works well with drew's Iscream kernel. Gallery works for me. Market. Live wallpaper is working. I'll include a few in a new build or patch.
Not working
voice search, use market version. Youtube hq laggy. Video playback, install mx video from the market.
BUILD CHANGELOGS
ALPHA 11a. Latest CM9 sync. Allows for more theming objects like the power menu and frameworks. Might have a test 12 kernel. May include the new Apollo Music app, jrummy root explorer. Will be going to testers first. Working out camcorder issues first. kgsl logcat errors seemed to be gone.
Alpha 11D. Latest cm9 sync. Test 15 kernel... new video drivers .. bluetooth sleep fixes... Same audio as early builds, test tethering...
ALPHA 13 Latest CM9 sync, new bootanimation, bluetooth audio fixed for calls, Test 16 kernel with vsync on.
ALPHA 15 Fixes lockscreen icons, dp is still too large for mdpi screens. Bootanimation really flies too. Comes with Test 16 kernel with vsync on. Flash Test 15 kernel with vsync off to increase ics smoothness. Bluetooth phone audio should be fixed. Linaro patch2 build. Drew?s Cannibal recovery compatible now. Flash the alpha 10 audio files, i forgot to go back to those.
ALPHA 15 D, same as above with the old audio files, Mms fixed. Compatible with latest Cannibal 1.08 recovery. Flash test15 kernel for a performance boost with vsync off
ALPHA 16
Non-Linaro build
Offline charging added, thanks tdm. Still a bit buggy, if you are plugged in and it reboots, it goes to charging. So currently... Power off+plugged in=charging screen, plugged into wall+reboot=charging screen. Usb plugged+reboot=charging screen. SO press and hold the power till you see the the cyanogenmod screen.
Latest CM9 sync.
New CAF audio files from team lgics. Speakerphone should work. Try the other audio files in post 2.
Test 15 kernel included for now.
No pm's for testing requests, it fills up my pm box and just get's deleted.
Bugs
Alpha 11 bugs .. clock lag still present, seems the Epic ics builds suffer too.
Alpha 15D bugs... clock lag again, reports of deep sleep problems, built in voice search not working, uninstall and grab the market. Linaro builds by other makes are reporting static sound and creating more bugs than necessary. I'll see how things go, but next build will be back to the old toolchain.
