These were data tips from Alpha 1. Try dialing *#*#4636#*#* and choosing auto CDMA or CDMA only and toggle the radio off and on.

For data problems, see if apns are loading or sticking. Using voice dialer say "open A P N s" (open a ) and a menu should pop up.
See if two sprint apns are showing up. If you see two CDMA listings, that's the Cyanogenmod apn-conf.xml settings for sprint thats wrong. You can delete those and make new ones.

Click menu and choose new.
Name: Sprint
APN: 0
MCC: 310
MNC: 120
APN type: *

Make another one
Name: Sprint
APN: 1
MMSC: http://mms.sprintpcs.com
MCC: 310
MNC: 120
APN type: mms

Otherwise, it may require a full data wipe and starting over.

The double flashing does work for some, Like flashing rom, flash gapps, flash rom, flash gaps

quick question. my 3g goes on and off and ZVD ics cm9 but i really want my mms to work anyway to fix mms?

Try 67 boot.img and see if the framework folder from the the Optimus v version fixes mms.

Looks like lupohirp released some beta 4 code, but no camera or frameworks code.

not sure if this has been asked but should data2ext work on this? just wondering if that would even be worth trying. the camera was the only other this holding me from giving this a good few days run... now with the partially working camera i just might. awesome work.

So far getting both wifi and data to work reliably has been the biggest issue, for me at least, and it appears for others. It is an alpha for a reason, and far from a daily driver if this is your primary phone. I flash, boot, test and fiddle for a few hours when I have time. Then I restore my kraven CM7 nand for the times I need the phone.

Data2Ext (A2SD) does actually work, I hope thekraven doesn't mind me posting the modification, it only works on Alpha4 though, installing it on Alpha4b will just set you back to Alpha4. A2SD Mod for Kraven's CM9 Alpha4

Btw thekraven, Once again, love your ROM It's working great for me, can't wait for the next release

First rule of CyanogenMod is you do not ask for ETA's or updates. Its ready when its ready. thekraven has a busy life, and most of his work is porting what lupohirp does for the P500 to make it work on our devices. We are pretty much at a stand still until lupohirp releases the camera code and the frameworks code so Jon can hack the crap out of it to make it work for us.

Basically, dont keep bugging the guy for updates. Report bugs, if he responds, give him more details.

It makes the world a better place.

I see no harm in asking how things are going, however I, being a member of several forums and a themer, understand the rules and will obey them, but my question was not dirrected dirrectly at thekraven but at the guys. I was not seeking an unscheduled update of the Rom but asking how it was working for the rest of you guys. I also would like to know if the ICS camera app that is on the market would work with this as it works perfect on CM7? Preview and all.
