on that note, my camera works now and takes pics. No live preview of course but..... already like the camera options such as exposure. so useful.

I installed it to tried to connect computer and tablet even tried to use blutooth on tablet. It will show up for a second and just go away. poof

Okay the older version of pdanet vs. 1.2 will work bluetooth. Install foxfi on rooted phone and use pdanet vs. 1.2 on tablet. to teather to cpu use wireless teather 2.3 on do not encrypt the network you should be good to go.

"Unfortunately, Clock has stopped."

I haven't found anyone else noticing this issue. Running Hydro Kernel ICS edition, Alpha 9, and latest Gapps. I see one of my alarms on the lock screen, if I try to access the clock app, I get the "Unfortunately, Clock has stopped." message. Other apps that access the clock app lead me to the same message. Any suggestions?

Hmm I don't have any suggestions for the clock problem, but I'm terrible at troubleshooting phones. :-\ I am running the same setup as you though.... no issues with the clock app. If you go directly to it through the menu will it open just fine?

the button between "Like" and "News Tip"


Kind of a weird thing happened to me yesterday. I was getting constant Apex Launcher FCs (Literally every 2 seconds). So booted into recovery and restored my nandroid of 4/17. When I tried to reboot, I got bootloops. I than rebooted back to recovery and flashed my Cm7 nandroid. That worked fine. After updating that for a bit, I tried to flash my 4/17 backup. Still no dice. So than, I wiped everything with Patrick's total wiper (not the one that wipes everything but data, but the one that wipes everything!), and than clean flashed a9, than powerkey fix, gapps, Hydrokernel, amphetamines. Didn't boot. Wiped everything again, than just flashed a9. That did boot, and it had all of my data from the 4/17 nand? WTH? The power key didn't work, and gapps were gone, so I knew it hadn't just restored my 4/17 backup. Flashed the other things one by one in recovery, now phone is working fine.

Everything's good now, I'm just (more than) slightly confused.

Glad to find another very helpful forum. I mod on a car forum and am lucky the people there are great as well. This layout is so different though. I'm done too... sorry for going OT.

May have another issue right now.... notification sound seems to have stopped working. Not sure if its because of the new kernel or I need to reboot the phone. Or if I'm suddenly deaf.

Sometimes I notice it's not working and then I realize it's set to silent in a setting somewhere...you might double check the notification settings for the SMS app... hopefully that's the case.

I've done a thread search (and I'm pretty sure I've read every post in this thread at least once), so apologies if I missed it.

Has anyone gotten Flash to work with this (or any) ICS ROM? I have tried a few versions, as well as a couple sets of instructions. If anyone has gotten it working with a particular version of Flash or set of instructions, I'd love to hear it. I'm worried that the available ARMv6 builds just don't have the necessary bits to interact with ICS' browser.

While I don't need Flash, and it is super slow for some things, there are still occasions where it is handy to have.

flash sometimes works on different ics roms on other phones but is buggy at best

Teh effs? Your phone must be on some serious drugs. I haven't the slightest clue why all that happened.

Afterthought: which recovery are you using?

I did a nand backup, then cleared data for clock, disabled clock, then reenabled clock. It works now.
