From my travels in numerous Android forums, with this phone and my kindle, there are hardware acceleration issues with all ICS/CM9 based ROMS, mainly due to kernel or hardware interface issues. They are all work in progress and the devs are working on it. Predicting when it will be fixed is impossible. It will be done when it is done.

Regular resolutions are fine, HD needs HWA and does not work.

Is the in-call speakerphone working properly for everyone? If I turn on the speakerphone during a call, it's the same volume as the other speaker. On previous ROMs, the volume would get significantly louder.

Also, from when I posted earlier, I'm still getting the 3G connectivity issues with Google Play Music (when not initiating with wifi), but I've been troubleshooting it as best as I can. It's a weird problem.

Browsers - FTP

Definite weirdness in Skyfire not refitting text to screen Blank pages. Refresh doesn't fix it. Disappearing URL in address bar. No soundex on typing. Similar prob in Dolphin and stock browser. Broken magnify thingie. Dunno if this happens on all ICS or just this ROM. Also running Hydro.

APK Uploader, which I use alot, says its stopped. Looks like a socket issue with FTP although andFTP is fine.

So there are UI and IP glitches. Could be ICS in general.

GO keyboard just disappeared. System thought it was still installed. Had to surgically remove all traces before I could reinstall. Even TB couldn't restore it. Since it happened right after I upgraded to the latest version which has ads BTW and came out yesterday I suspect the pkg may have been corrupt on the market and not the ROM. I say that because I updated another device and like twenty minutes later came an update again. Markets been good.

No FCs at all. Does freeze randomly but not alot. No reboot. Running smooth at 768. All in all nice job. Haven't used BT or data so I can't comment on them. Kudos to all the development team.

I flashed this on my o.v. and its AWESOME. Everything works, 3g, etc.......I've tried all the other cm9 roms and they're good but this is a lot BETTER. As far as ics, cold as ice is the best one I've flashed so far. Great Job!

I didn't know Optimus S roms would actually be able to run on our phones. Thanks a bunch! I'm gonna flash it in a lil bit

To the dev: you should make a notew of that in the OP

someting to note we can send but cant receive MMS can you OS devs help us little Ov outlaws crawling around in your forums

we tried jerryscripts MMS fix for our ICS rom but its already there so what else could it be?

Not sure about the V but Im an optimus S and using go sms pro will let me send and recive mms everytime.. I hope this helps and work, please let us know.

I have tested and Yes I can RECIVE and Send MMS, I found Out from WannaB on page

True, I am sorry, but have you tried using go sms pro, because I can not use the Stock app messenger app form google, i can only uses go sms pro if i want to send or receive mms. if you have not tried it , it would not hurt. I hope it will for for you on your optimus V

As such, whatever lines of code point your messaging service to Verizon's(?) servers . . . won't be pointed at Verizon's servers; they'll point to Sprint. I doubt thekraven is interested in changing the files around to use the correct address(es), but if you ask really nicely, and suggest it to a V dev on your usual forums, one of the devs working on your devices might work on a port.

I don't know how thekraven feels about his work being ported; I know he uses the work of others to get his ROM running smoothly. There might be a chain of permissions to get, or . . . I dunno.
