i also have no wifi with 62.img. its odd that you can see the networks, connect, and even ping your ip, but cannot get data to flow

My problem exactly. It will connect but no data will flow. I love the system and interface but I most likely will go back to my back up until it all comes together better.

Turn on wifi > connect to your preferred network > reboot

This worked for me. Good luck!

Does this have the camera working yet? I have alpha 6 with no camera. I hope there is a fix soon, but I'll stick with my cm7 until the camera is up and working

Quick question: the bug where when you change a setting and have to reboot so it will stick, is that a hard issue to solve? Just wondering, curious about the complexity of the bug.

I keep dreaming of ice Cream.....hey was the lockscreen delay/freeze iscream kernel bug addressed anywhere??? I'm experiencing this with cm7.2 is anyone seeing this with cm9?

Using 67:

• wifi works, doesn't give the blue wifi indicator but does give the blue "generic" signal bars used for 3G.
• Google Play Music won't stream via wifi.
• Once connected to wifi, I can turn wifi off, but CAN'T turn mobile data or airplane mode on. Not via notification area toggles, not in "Settings". It seems that once wifi does an initial connect on 67, mobile data and airplane mode are just gone. Edit: I'm still not sure what happened here, whether my screwing around with it repeatedly, rebooting, etc. would have fixed it. Part of me doesn't really care; if I have to reboot to switch between wifi and 3G, it's not worth the effort.
• Phone wouldn't charge when connected to wall charger; would charge & connect to computer with same cord.
• Trying to turn on USB storage caused phone reboot. Going to try that again without SetCPU running (since I put SetCPU on my SD card) Yep, that was due to halting SetCPU. Guess I'll be moving that one back to phone storage.

Going to give 62 a shot next.

Using 62 (after cache wipe & boot img flash):

• Holy cow, something about airplane mode is awfully, horribly wrong. It was on when I rebooted, is on now and won't turn off. I can turn wifi and 3G off/on, but that's pointless since airplane mode won't turn off. Going to wipe cache, dirty flash ROM, then flash 62 img. Pray for me. Okay, somehow airplane mode magically turned off without my dirty flashing. 3G takes the usual nonsense (airplane off/on, data off/on) to connect, but eventually does. Speeds are "meh". Seems subject to less random "data drops" (3G disconnects) than 57.

62 did seem pretty solid but the wifi and data issues are a pain. Plus still no camera. Waiting patiently for the next update to try again.

There's not going to be much space for applications. Sure, Titanium Backup will restore them to SD if you ask it to, and apps like DroidSail will move any applications you download that are flagged unmovable. The problem is that those applications, once moved to SD card, can't reliably use your wifi connection. I think that's the issue I had with Google Play Music, I know it's the issue I had using Unified Remote, Netflix, and others. If the app says it doesn't want to be moved to SD, don't count on it being able to hit the internet when you move it anyway.

Anyone think they have a fix for this, or is it waiting on a more stable build in general?

I haven't really been able to get wifi to work...I've just stuck with 3G even though it goes on and off (this is on 67).

I noticed my phone occasionally shows it is re-mounting my SD card when I turn my screen on, and when it does any apps that were on my SD card "corrupt" and won't open unless I reboot...I feel like the mounting problems is why my Gallery usually doesn't work as well...

Weird. Wifi is fairly reliable for me (on 62 & 67), excluding the issues with "immobile" apps on SD. 3G gives me fits. It just won't connect reliably.

My data works great (on all boot images), though it does drop occassionaly. Speed is fine though.

The browser FC's are the worst part. I wish i could code so I could see why it is happening.

Thought I'd throw this out there. I just installed alpha 4b coming from latest cm7 build. Only wiped caches and flashed debug.zip. and all my data rocks. All my apps work. Didn't toggle $hit. No sign in to deal with

By "caches", you mean /cache and Dalvik cache?

Also, the Debug-FormatSYSTEM.zip doesn't work if you upgraded to Drew's CWMT recovery. Uses a different scripting, throws hell of errors when you try to flash it.
