thekraven great work! everything installed and runs fast. wifi connects and is very fast 3g is hit and miss for me and goes from fast to painfully slow. other than the known issues works amazing. keep up the great work.

I just wanted to note it appears mute does not work within a call. I am not sure how important this is to others, but it is a necessity for me. Thanks for all of your hard work Kraven!

after many reboots 3g is stable and very fast have to do the toggle every reboot. much faster than cm7 way to go!

Are you toggling airplane from the settings menu, the power button hold menu, or the notification bar?

Is this valid for your cm7 too? Most but not all are the same for me. What about the uscc?

These were data tips from Alpha 1. Try dialing *#*#4636#*#* and choosing auto CDMA or CDMA only and toggle the radio off and on.

For data problems, see if apns are loading or sticking. Using voice dialer say "open A P N s" (open a ) and a menu should pop up.
See if two sprint apns are showing up. If you see two CDMA listings, that's the Cyanogenmod apn-conf.xml settings for sprint thats wrong. You can delete those and make new ones.

Click menu and choose new.
Name: Sprint
APN: 0
MCC: 310
MNC: 120
APN type: *

Make another one
Name: Sprint
APN: 1
MMSC: http://mms.sprintpcs.com
MCC: 310
MNC: 120
APN type: mms

Otherwise, it may require a full data wipe and starting over.

The double flashing does work for some, Like flashing rom, flash gapps, flash rom, flash gaps

On wifi only? If im not mistaken, i thought Sprint required you to download MMS's through their network so that they can calculate how many you send and receive?

If we get MMS's working this rom will be PERFECT! ( tons of space, quick and snappy, all the perks im looking for )

after being on wifi all day 3g is very spotty now, haven't rebooted yet though. mms does not download without wifi. didn't do anything other than install handcent n connect wifi


UPDATE: on 3g mms says cannot download at this time. on wifi I have been able to receive mms at my house 50meg cable work 10meg DSL but not on friends 5meg cable not sure if its related or not?

still have unreliable and slow 3g after being on wifi all day restarted about 20 times before giving up on 3g and going back to wifi.

also anyone else notice the battery getting eaten up really fast?

Noticed that bootloader is in the powerdown. LWPs? I actually got away with dirty flashing using Patrick's everything but data zip. Wifi works, didn't have to reconnect to wifi, settings + apps saved, etc.
Instructions:
Flash Patrick's everything but data.zip (not actual name)
flash ROM
flash new bootimage
flash small gapps (kraven attached on page 68)
reboot
admire new bootanimation
let sit for 10 minutes
uncheck+ recheck SB toggles
reboot again
data off wifi on.
What with added camera support, wifi fixes and improved 3g speed, you've made an awesome ROM even better. Great job Kraven!

While within a call I can't mute the built in speaker mic.

i noticed the headset mic is working now and the handset mic is not muting when plugged in. So both mics are functioning at the same time.

If someone has time, they could mix and match audio files from alpha4 if audio was muting fine there.

Or try pushing the files from mic fix for alpha 1. Flash with signature off.

Can anyone else replicate this? MMS would be a nice feature to have I have tried editing and changing my APN's to no avail. By doing so i have however seemed to make 3g more reliable? It doesnt turn on and off like it did upon the initial flash.

I forgot on the wifi network that I couldn't dl mms it sits on downloading for a few minutes and goes back to the download box.

that's what it does for everyone else its downloading using 3G but it doesn't allow itself to go to the next step.

Im currently investigating as to why its not working though!
