My problem of no notification sounds was fixed by..... you guessed it, rebooting. it happens. I guess. why not.

You guys saying the stock browser app that looks like chrome doesn't work? I've been using it for awhile now.

edit: thought I would mention, not sure what's up with this ROM but so far my "time on battery" stats show I have been unplugged for 12 hours and I agree with it. Been using the phone all day too. love it.

God bless you guys Still being patient for the CM9 Excellent rom fast emulation etc however there are a few bugs i want to report here SDcard with EXT4 partition will corrupt and programs stop running stably After a few hours on i thought it was due to overclocking however it wasn't the issue PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHEN THE CAMERA WORKING VERSION IS Released or if there is a better cm72 mod I am using cm72 3.9d if there is a newer version please let me know im using the LG optimus S excellent phone keeps up with even the new ones I know im not using half of its performance please PM me. I also have some Very serius and importat info in other reguards also Calls hangup by themselves on CM9 alpha 9 AHHAAHHA i couldn't figure that out till later it was crazy Well get back to me later brothers.

1. Have you tried a new/ different SD card?
2. Read past posts to fix the camera
3. That is the latest 7.2 build.
4. Have you tried rebooting/reflashing?
5. This may sound harsh but none of your issues need someone to PM you. All of these are able to be talked about in the public. We are here to help each other. No need to hide (unless its private info)

I recently updated to alpha 9b and my headphones with a play/pause button no longer work as they did on the older from (alpha 8 I believe) anyone else have this issue?

I got the itch and tried this vA9 last night with HydroKernel vPre02.

Looks great and the intent to be be tighter than CM7 is obvious. I really liked this from the outset. I'm looking forward to seeing future progress and versions.

I did not keep it long. I had a few FC's and lock ups, which were annoying, but expected and tolerable with an alpha build. But the main deal breaker for me was the contacts management.

I should say right off that I am part of the rare minority that abhors uploading the names and contact information of everyone I know to an advertising company with datamining tendencies. I like to keep them locally on my device and backed up on 2 different local computers. I use a gmail account for minimal work chat.

So the stock Contacts app only allows for cloud storage of contacts. Enter your Gmail or corporate account, because those are your only options. Suckfest!

I installed the latest version of GoSMS Pro, which I had not played with much (I froze a sub-4 version on my Reborn, because recent changes to the release deviate from the features the established userbase, including me, liked about it.) This bastard, in conjunction with the CM9, was able to import all of my contacts from my vcf file, then--despite my choice to save them as Phone Only contacts--uploaded them to Google all the same. And then.... it managed to lose them immediately. Did it again, same thing. I went and deleted all my contact on Google as it propagated 5 of each there, against my will. Not sure if this was the fault of the ROM or GO! apps, but it was a total deal-breaker for me. After importing, the contacts would flash the pictures for a few minutes, then disapppear. All around, not cool.

This ROM is tight and has lots of potential. But it is not at daily driver level at this point, imho. Keep up the great work!

Do you have bluetooth turned on? There's a bug with CM7 and CM9 on these phones: when bluetooth is turned on the phone will never enter sleep mode and so the battery drains much more quickly than usual. If so just turn it off until/if they ever fix the bug.

ever since i have been on here you have NEVER left reborn you were loyal too it lol i kinda am now also until i see a fully stable sense or when im testing touchwiz i refuse to leave reborn but when camera gets fixed or theres android 4.0.5 i will change back you can say......
