*shrug* The MMS fix is probably as simple as flashing one or two files. A true port that removed all of the Sprinty things and switched `em to be applicable to your devices would likely take a bit more sifting - and would probably make you a happier camper.

Anyway, if you have a dev you can ask about a slapdash MMS fix, go for it!

hey this rom runs perfectly with the OV TDM posted a buttion fix for our ICS rom a while back (an old alpha used some OS stuff switching the buttons) so he released a button switcher that we used itgerwise just follow the standerd procedure and it worked 3G and all but if the dev wants it to stop ill delete it from my phone and request for others to do the same

Since Virgin Mobile USA is an MVNO on the Sprint network, it has to use CDMA also, so the differences are slight, just in some software or settings in the radio control that identify it as a VM phone rather than a Sprint direct phone. That is why the OS ROM works on the OV.

Ok so I went ahead and reinstalled your rom again, only to find that my phone was still getting no charge. This made me think that maybe the usb on my phone was broken. So I thought a while and came up with the idea to leave it plugged in whilst in Recovery Mode. To make sure it was a controlled environment I made sure the phone or plug didn't move at all during this. So I had 8% at 10am, rebooted into recovery let it charge to 10:34; rebooted and upon CM9 starting up my battery was now at 22%.

So this proves that my USB plug is fine, which relaxes me a lot. This obviously is some kind of bug. What are your thoughts? I'm going to try Alpha 8 and let you know what happens.

As annoying as this was, I actually really like this kind of problem solving, feel like I've made a contribution.

Ok here's an update on this bug.

1. I installed CM7 and my phone charges fine with wall charger.
2. Phone charges with CM9 when connected to a computer.

Regular resolutions are fine, HD needs HWA and does not work.

OH. I wasn't aware it had HD mode. I see what you mean now. Not an issue for me I suppose. unfamiliar with HWA though, what is that. wait random guess...... hardware acceleration?

Hmm alright. Otherwise it has been fine for me. For the optimus S people, not sure why you aren't getting mms messages with the stock app. I do have drew's kernel on it but I can send and receive with no issues.

Here's a testing kernel based on Gingerkernel ICS with a few patches from the p500 kernel. Vsync off makes the ui more smoother, qtaguid filter supposed to fix battery stats, Bluetooth tethering enabled (future use), Camera preview patches (future use).

Running AMAZING on the new kernel with patches.

Its prob cause you are on an OV.

Batt stats still do not work for me though.

Odd question, does FB sync work for anyone??

I can get the account to add, but, it still wont sync pics/statues.

TheKraven is working just like TDM.

This works on the V, but equivalent to TDM's.

Not everything can be fixed pronto.

What are your settings like overclocking?
Try turning on ksm in performance settings.

wow so many pages, this rom sounds about ready for my lil sister.
Any drawbacks? I read hydrokernel helps so I will probably give that to her aswell.
