I don't know if anyone has seen the new droid commercial where they broadcast video live to Facebook, it's actually done through an app called color for Facebook which I noticed it saying in small print in the commercial. Anyway I thought I'd give it a try and it worked with no issue on 10g. The only thing is if your not on Verizon it only broadcasts video. Verizon must have a proprietary version. Which I have been able to get version apps to work on these phones but haven't searched for that yet.

Two things:

1. It sometimes takes several key presses (power, home, etc.) to get MAIN SCREEN TURN ON
2. From time to time, I'll pull the notification drawer down and it will be blank. Items usually return after I slide it back up and wait 15-20 seconds.

Using 11c without test kernel 13.

imagine a situation where you may need to have an alarm go off at an exact time. well, you plug your phone in, go to sleep, screen shuts off, you get clock lag, dont wake up for work on time, get fired from work, cant pay your cell bill, lose your beloved optimus, and all because you had clock lag.

I see. Didn't think about that. (having a normal alarm clock has its perks umm if it helps anything at all, I haven't had any clock lag in awhile! I AM ON THE OPTIMUS V. I don't know what I did to fix it. basically everything I've done with it is flashed it twice to begin with. After both flashes, I flashed Amphetamines. So after the second time of flashing, I tried out Reloaded ICS. I liked it a lot, but it would not allow me to copy files to/from computer and couldnt adb. So, I deleted the reloaded apk in the system files and then replaced the systemui.apk with the original one and rebooted. This could possibly have fixed it for me, idk. Then, yesterday, I could not use my notification dropdown music toggles. reboots didn't fix it for me, so I restored a backup that I had made a couple days ago.

Haven't noticed any clock lag at all in at least the last day. Coulda been longer, I don't know

Theres also plenty of ROMs that don't have the issue.
Or an alarm clock... they are pretty cheap at wal mart

So i downloaded clocksync and that fixed the clock lag for the most part. At least alarms work properly. Installed Volume+ to fix the quiet speaker. Runs beautifully on my Optimus S, can't wait to see the finished product!!

I really want to try this soo bad... I dropped my OS a couple months ago and it wouldn't turn on anymore.... (I now have an OV) I'm going to finally work up the strength to gut it and see what might have happened and see if i can fix it just to try this out. (I know it works on the OV but i want my OS to see what I thought it would never see.) thanks Kraven for the awesome contribution to the OS community.

I see the clock lag. It appears to me that it only occurs when the phone "sleeps". I don't have the problem overnight. I've set up quiet times and the phone is set to not sleep when plugged in. When I go to bed, I plug the phone in, set the alarm and switch to deskclock mode (I cut out a cardboard stand just for this when I got my phone). When you start getting older, you'll find that you wake up a couple of times in the night, so I can say that my deskclocks (phones) time matches my DVR/ cablebox time over the course of an evening.

I'm not using Reloaded ICS, so I feel pretty confident in saying it's not the cause of the blank drawer.

I'm also not seeing weather on lockscreen, even though it's enabled. Wonder if the pattern unlock just doesn't leave enough room.

So clock sync hasn't been making any visible difference but I did try alarm droid and it went off at 7 while my system said 6:45

I don't have any concrete data on this, but I think my phone is polling for texts (both receiving & sending) slowly. I use Google Voice, which might make it easier to test, but also might be the root of the issue. Any thoughts on how I can test this out?

I noticed that If I add a shortcut to the lock screen no Icons will appear, but the shortcut will still work.
Is this supposed to be this way or should the icons be showing up?

The only icons I've had show up are system icons everything else is so small you can't see it

I'm not sure if this is common knowledge, but I've noticed that the disappearing text that happens in Gmail, Facebook, ESPN, etc, all seem to use WebView from the Android API.

Is there anyone that could possibly make a theme for CM9 to something similar to this? I pm'd the maker of these a couple weeks ago, but he isn't active and didn't respond. His dl links are broken, as well. If anyone could make this, that'd be freaking awesome. OR, if someone wants to walk me through on how to make something like this, feel free to pm me. Thanks

THANK YOU The Kraven and the rest of the developers for creating this for the LG Optimus S. I've been watching this thread daily to keep up with your changes; I use my phone for work, so I'm not able to be one of the testers, but I'm, looking out for when this is finalized.

This would probably be considered a mod request; since you have set the voice key to be recent apps, can you set the voice key to perform a voice search "speak now"? I really miss that feature, and I use it a lot, so if it can be mapped to a key I'd be able to kill out the widget and save some mem.

I just discovered The gmail app, when i open it "Unfortunately, Gmail has stopped" Every time.
