What kernel are you running on Camel? I'd like to try those built-in governors.

I'm using the baked in kernel right now and probably will never change it. I've been tempted to try a couple different ones, but from what I've read...people are having a couple of issues with different parts of the ROM when using a different kernel. Now of course if your wanting to try out the governors all you need is a kernel that has prefs lock turned off and you should be good. Oh...and make sure its a AOSP kernel and not a Sense based kernel. Don't want to run into any issues.

Nice!!!! When I flash back to Decks I'll do the update. Test driving EVOlved Rom, the lockscreen is really sick!!! It's not as smooth running or battery conscious as Decks... but its really nicely done.

Is anyone having a problem with 3g connection? I am switching between Mikfroyo and this. On Mikfroyo the connection is very fast. It was like this before and after I updated the radios. This 3g connection is slow to connect or don't connect. Any suggestions.

Is there a way to have groups in my contacts like with 2.2? I flashed evodeck v1.0 on my Evo yesterday and I really liked some features, but i didn't like how I couldn't do that. I'm running Launcher Pro so I would prefer an aosp rom. I also did not like how evodeck handles the Facebook sync. It wouldn't allow me to merge contacts like in froyo. Is that just a sense based thing or are there aosp 2.3 roms that will do that? Btw, I'm currently running Azrael 4.0 and I haven't found a rom I like better yet. I know he's getting ready to upload 5.0 so I may just wait for that. Anyone have any recommendations for a 2.3 rom that can handle some of these features I want? Thanks.

I'm experiencing the same issue. It likes to cut out whenever it feels like, now it is decently fast when it does stay connected. Can be very flakey though. I would flash 1.2zPS to see if has been fixed, but I don't have enough battery power. I'll report back once I've done it. Oh...one thing I do sometimes to get the data rolling again....turn on auto syncing. That usually gets my data going, just turn it off when your done because you don't want to drain that battery dry.

The Facebook sync thing your talking about is just a Sense feature. You'll have to use the official FB app to do contact syncing...though I would have to agree that the current FB app is quite bad. Hopefully when they finally release version 1.6 the contact syncing issue will be fixed. I've tried renaming all my contacts to the exact display name on FB and it still doesn't sync them all...grrr. Still not a deal breaker for me as I just switched the setting to not show contact pictures inside the phone application. Like you, that is definitely a cool Sense feature, it's still not enough to make me go back.

Dang, I was hoping there would be a workaround. I just like having the Facebook profile pics linked to my contacts. What about the grouping? I know u can select favorites, but I like to have different groups like family, friends, and co-workers.

I was having a slow connection with c-y, but it always connected. With z, its slow to no connection. I love the rom, but keep leaving because of the slow connection. Every other rom the connection is fast. I put it in the issue tracker, but is there a fix for this?

Hmm....it's weird...my connection was slow...but now it's acting like it should. Try a fresh install of the ROM, gapps and the radio update. See if that does the trick. If not....try downgrading the radios to the version right before the lastest.

Simple my friend. The voicemail.apk is Sprint's visual voicemail application. It was bundled with the Google apps so when you flash the gapps, you'll also have VV. It works beautifully I must say, just as you would expect it to. The other one is just the regular Google apps package.

I wanted to post this before I forgot again. Did you guys notice that you can swipe away notifications in the drop down bar? Just press on the selected notification and slide your pressed down finger to the right. I did this by accident a few days ago and forgot to say anything...my bad. Check it out though....I haven't seen this feature in any other ROM.
