Ok, 126 flashed. Really liking the touch to focus feature on the camera. Haven't found the tabbed lock screens yet, but that may be due to using a pattern to unlock since I also get work email on my phone.

Look in Menu -> Settings -> CM Settings -> Lockscreen -> Style Options

You can select the lockscreen style and select the custom app to place there.

There's now a "screen shot" option in the shut down/reboot menu. Hold down power button like your turning it off...its half way down the menu. Flippin sweet!

Did you do a full wipe, including cache and dalvik? When I went from 7.0.3 to 7.1, I had to do full wipe, cache and dalvik three times each. The reason I did it that was was because after the first flash to 7.1, a lot of my settings and backgrounds were still there, even though I hadn't re-installed them yet. So you may need to go back and clear them all three times each.

I don't see anything listed as a dalvik...I see factory wipe and reset, and wipe cache, so I did both and flashed CM7 and gapps...

Thanks Pville. I found it. I assume (yes, I know what happens you I do that) that this does not work if you are using an unlock pattern. Since I use my phone for work, I have an unlock pattern set up. I do like the four tabs though.

Download to your SD and flash in recovery, since you are having issues you will want to wipe Cache and Dlavik as ucluglee suggested.

If you are still having issues after that, then I would recommend a clean install, wiping data, cache and dalvik, re-flashing a nightly and then GAPPS.

Just FYI.

You guys probably know this, since you flash nightlies on a regular basis. If you have custom sound files in the /system/media folders, they get wiped during a nightly flash. I do have a custom /media folder that I manually copy to any rom I'm flashing, and I couldn't figure out why none of my sounds were working. I looked and sure enough, all my custom sounds were gone and all the default sounds were installed. So flashing a nightly will wipe your custom sounds. Luckily I keep the folder backed up to Dropbox so deleting the original and pasting the custom was no big deal.

I get a market icon, but no functionality. When I go to menu>Settings>accounts and sync>new accout, I only get an exchange account, not a google account option.

Other observations:

no lock screen
incoming calls show up in call log, but don't ring through.
home button does not return to default screen or show screen previews.

I think I need to download a new ROM zip, and try from scratch.

After applying updates, do your reboot to recovery, or reboot system?

I also did a Titanium back up before I rooted, but not a backup and restore option from recovery, so hopefully that didn't screw anything up.

Yes...now...How to get some of my apps back from before I rooted. I did a Titanium backup, but not a nandroid one. I see all the apps I saved to sd on the card, but don't know how to get to them. I don't mind downloading them again, I just don't want to have to pay for them again. I really miss swype.

This is like having a new phone! Are there tips and tricks about CM7 i should know about?
