[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

I am willing to bet never. Would be nice if they did.... i just dont think it's possible

That was a poor attempt at sarcasm. I am reconciled to it, and have a backup of miui froyo for my high def recording needs. It is really awesome that they are almost at a stable build, and I too am looking forward to seeing what additional goodies they can pack in.

I need to purchase at least a 16 gb this wknd. I only have a 4gb and It is just barely big enough (and thats when I constantly delete stuff off it)

Well I was using the 2g that came with it... paid 6.68 for an 8g so not bad at all. 11.83 with shipping! I saw on Amazon you can get a 16 around 17-23 bucks.. not bad

AMAZON is the ONLY place i will buy electronics, unless I need them immediately!!! I love that site. best place for electronics... I need a new card to ... looking for a 16gb, then I wont have to worry ever.... 32gb is TOO big for me.. I would never come close to filling it ;)

Love Amazon order stuff all the time...

/off topic but...

When I get the new SD do I have to do anything to it before I swap? And should I load everything from my 2g to the 8g card?

I would just copy the whole thing over. That way any app data and any other media (pics, mp3s, etc) will be there.

When I switched from a 2 gig to a 4 gig card, all I did was copied everything from the 2 gig card to my desktop then I just put the 4 gig card in the computer and copied everything onto that card. I put the card back into the phone and turned my phone on and it was right as rain absolutely no problems.... Just make sure that your card is formatted fat32 first. Generally, all micro sd cards come formatted it in that format anyway

Alright sweet that's what I was gonna do. This 2g card is horrible. Can't fit anything on it. My backups have an average of around 450 to 500mb. And I always wanna keep my stock one in there which is over 500 MB just for ease to go back to 720p for the day. And have my latest cm7 backup too. Looking at aroung 1g just for backups maybe more. Sorta want to store all my music on the SD and not phone mem too. But 16g combined now... yea yea!

I'm laughing... If you have it... you will fill it!

This reminds me of 2 stories. The first computer I owned had 1Mb of RAM. That's right a WHOLE Mega Byte! It was Crazy!!! No one could ever need more then that!!!

The second, I was working at UPS's datacenter in NJ when EMC introduced their first Terabyte storage solution. It was a Full Freaking Cabinet! A full rack for a Terabyte of storage, and we drooled like babies over it for weeks!

My server now holds 6TB of storage inside the tower!

can you only load inc version of cyanogenmod on inc's only?

i want to put it on my friends backflip from att...:P i seen on youtube a person had cyanogenmod froyo on his phone, could someone navigate me towards that download.. i still have to root his phone which im going to do once he gets off work today. or can i just load any version onto his phone once its rooted, or do the specs matter? IDK? :'(

Bluetooth Issues using Nightly #32

So I tried to go to the latest RC but even after several full wipes, it would get stuck in the boot animation every time I restarted the phone. I tried 4 full wipes, reinstalls, then it boots fine and runs great until I restart. So with that I moved back to a clean install of #32.

Everything is working perfectly except for my bluetooth. It will pair with my Samsung wep475 but never connects. No matter what I try it just won't work. Any suggestions?

That thought drove my tag line. I found my old visor edge a few weeks ago. It's a little thinner than the incredible with about 1/100,000th of the processing power, but way better battery life.

All ROMs are device specific. i.e, A ROM for the Dinc will not work on the EVO, or the N1, or any other phone. Every device uses different drivers, partitions, kernel modules, etc.

Try nightly #36? I've never experienced the issues you are having. I also don't use bluetooth so I can't confirm or deny any issues there.

Go to cyanogenmod.com. from there you can download either CM6 or 7 if it's available for the Backflip.

DO NOT TRY TO LOAD ROM's FOR OTHER PHONES ON IT. The ROM's are device specific as Crondable pointed out.

And before all you young'uns get all upity... Yes that's a "Smart Phone." Yes it would go for a week on 2 AA batteries. Yes that is a belt holster and I did wear it proudly on my hip! And lastly... No I don't think Cyanogen will run a build for it, but I wish he would. :p :p :p

LOL

Anyone on #36, or any other nightly for that matter, having problems with GPS positioning you about 30 yards South of your actual location? It started for me yesterday afternoon after the Japan aftershock. I've cleared cache and all the usual stuff. Just curious if it's happening to anyone else before I do a wipe.
